You’ll find your own bit of paradise in this lovely two-storey cottage, tucked away in lush olive groves and mature trees, its terraced garden unfolding downwards to reveal your idyllic private pool. The Chianti market towns of Gaiole and Radda are within easy reach for day trips. Or you could set off for the local stables, saddle up and strike out into the local countryside on horseback. After a busy day’s exploring, Il Paretaio will welcome you back with open arms – dine à deux on its pretty terrace as the sun sets or, on chillier evenings, snuggle up indoors by the woodburning stove. And when it’s time to retire, you couldn’t want for a better place to rest your heads than in the bedroom’s dreamy four-poster bed. The WiFi signal is only suitable for browsing and emails (10GB weekly allowance).
