Unfortunately due to tight international layovers we missed our first two days in the area, and only stayed one night here. The staff was so accommodating and nice and even tried to look to extend our stay with them (even though we couldn’t because we already had another stay booked elsewhere). Most of the staff was fluently bilingual. The reception desk was very helpful at finding good local places. What a beautiful, unique place! I wish we could’ve actually enjoyed being here. Breakfast was delicious!

Overall property was pretty good. Our room was on the bottom floor so a little musty smelling. Beds were comfortable. Shower pressure was excellent, lots of hot water and a decent size towel. Breakfast was great! Common areas - where the breakfast is and the deck are nice. Coffee available all day was nice. Staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions for places to eat. A road on either side of the hotel so lots of noisy motorcycles.

The check in was easy. The person at the desk was so friendly and helpful with answering questions and set up a shuttle ride with the tour we had booked earlier. The room is small but very clean. Breakfast is traditional and delicious. I would stay here again.

Loved the views and was especially a fan of the juice at breakfast in the morning. Super convenient kitchen access and excellent location with a short, easy walk to the main center of Monteverde. If we had known how much we were going to enjoy we would've planned to stay longer.

Transportation to the town and to the restaurants was so easy. Justin was the absolute best in providing important information on dining, transport and shopping. Will definitely stay there again when visiting Monteverde.

The staff was very helpful and informative. They make an amazing options for many for breakfast and coffee selection is superb including gourmet hot chocolate. Went out of the way to ensure comfort and feeling welcomes. Toasty wood fire at night on the open deck for all to enjoy while taking on the cloud forest views.

Great place for family of 4. We stayed in the private apartment, which was really nice. Had a video game arcade as a bonus. Only slight drawback was street noise from the motorbikes.

Miserable experience

We didn’t have a good experience at the hotel. The room was very small. Only one person could enter the balcony at a time. Water from the shower would flood the entire bathroom whenever showering and at one point the water came in the room too. I will never repeat the hotel.

Very nice BnB property with excellent cleanliness. The property is small with few units at prime location. Front desk was helpful. Bathrooms and rooms was well kept beyond our expectations from BnB hotel. Not much amenities or restaurant facilities but that can’t be expected at such properties. It was very budget friendly place.

Lovely B&B

We stayed in the private apartment, which was lovely. The fireplace is a very nice touch and the unit is well equipped with a kitchen and some fun retro touches (Pac-Man game and console, record player with records). The street is very noisy, but that is true with most places in the area. I wore ear plugs every night. The beds weren’t the most comfortable either. Staff was great though and the daily breakfast was nice.
