Beautiful little resort just outside of the hustle and bustle of Monteverde. Owner met us to show us around the property and let us check in early. One of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed in. The host Carlos was incredibly helpful with arranging transportation and booking activities. One day he took us to a beautiful overlook himself. The breakfasts were filling, delicious and varied. One night Carlos cooked us a 4 course meal that was one of the best dinners we had on our entire trip. There were many pretty trees and flowers surrounding the outdoor patio. Every day we saw exotic birds that had come to feed there. We highly recommend this bed and breakfast.

Best place ever

Wow! My partner joked that we shouldn’t write this, because she is afraid Casa Batsu will book solid for years to come. This was the loveliest place we could imagine. The breakfasts in the garden each morning are delicious and huge, and Carlos makes you feel so welcome. He will arrange for all your activities, rides, etc. The rooms are spacious and comfortable — and very clean. Sweet Rex the dog will greet you enthusiastically at the end of the day, and let you rub his belly while he grins and wiggles with delight. This is the place to stay.
