No like in the pics and what they promise

No like in the pics, they don't have a shuttle even in Expedia it says that they do, Internet slow, sheets burn by cigarette , room smell like cigarette, staff indifferent like if they don't like to be there, old tvs, washroom super old, everything looked dirty. Better hotels to stay around that area even at the rambla you get similar price and way better place.

Worst hotel ever!

This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. On expedia the hotel advertises a bar and a restaurant which led me to believe it to be a better class of hotel. There is no bar and no restaurant and the hotel is of an inferior class. The WiFi was extremely slow all the time. I would have gladly paid a little more to avoid such a horrible hotel. Avoid this hotel at all cost. It's a ripoff.

Great spot, simple comforts, outdated building.

The hotel was fine and clean. The bed was super comfortable. The location was great too. The hotel itself is just a bit old and in need of renovation. It's not dilapidated by any means, the lifts are old and charming, the building looks like it hasn't been touched since it was built.

This used to be a nice hotel... Now it is clean but in bad shape Owners need to work on improving the whole place Shower pretty bad Two tiny beds Had to ask for a blanket twice Courtains in bad shape Sad

Good location, nice staff, worn hotel.

Although the hotel is generally worn, we were supriced by the receptionist with the room upgrade. Service is nice so i could reccomend this place. Oh we were moving from other hotel wanting to leave luggage @11am and got possibility to check in before time. Nice too. Concerning a fact that the price was really low and include breakfast it was good bet. Two days before we made booking @ chick hostel montevideo where for higher price we were supposed to be checked in is "storage room" without window, without bathroom, without breakfast.

You get what you pay for

When we arrived there was no reservation in my name,due to this,maybe we were given a bad room. The bathroom was dirty unclean so was the refrigerator and the glasses. Sheeting was clean. WIFI would not connect in the rooms. Breafast was OK. Great location close to Montevideo attractions

Kind but dirty

The location and the kindness of the staffs are good. So, it would be helpful for travelers. But, the room is too dirty and old, even if I consider the price it is still poor.

Nothing like the pic, room not in great conditions, please update your pic and provide customers with a curated info. Workers don't know what to due they don't have the tools to work and provide you with a great stay. Breakfast was not open on time

Just Ok

The price was good and it was close to the bus line and a variety of nice restaurants and the staff was friendly and helpful. However, the hotel needs major remodeling. The walls were all marked up, the carpet was really old looking and marked up, our blanket was not in good shape and the heater worked more or less. Also, the internet didn't work so well - very slow.

The hotel has a nice looking reception but the rooms are nothing like that. They are tiny (not great if you have bags, worse with suitcases I'd imagine!) with a private bathroom. The breakfast is average - just bread, croissants and some cornflakes but hey only provide warm milk?!?! The door to the breakfast room was closed at 11am and people were turned away. Five minutes later we were back in our room and packing our stuff when we received a call asking when we were checking out because we were now late. It's a really convenient location though - close to the main part of town and near the waterfront which is great for walking/running.

A FILTHY HOTEL. THE LAMP SWITCHES WERE SO DISGUSTINGLY DIRTY I DIDN'T EVEN WANT TO TOUCH THEM! THE ROOM WAS SMALL AND DIRTY. THE WALLS AND CEILINGS IN BOTH THE BEDROOM AND BATHROOM HAD MOLD AND MILDEW. THE BEDSPREAD WAS BADLY STAINED. THIS ROOM WAS BEYOND RENOVATION. THIS HOTEL SHOULD NEVER BE LISTED AS A CHOICE! THE WORST HOTEL WE'VE STAYED IN. AVOID AT ANY COST.

not so good hotel in montevideo

It's a cheap hotel, very old in the center of Montevideo. Rooms are very small and bathroom is pretty ugly. There is too much noise due to its being located so close to main avenue.

Quiet location and comfort without luxury

For 3 star hotels in all good enough. Friendly staff. A hearty breakfast. Walking distance of museums, theaters, shopping and business centers.

Terrific service from reception staff

The reception staff was very helpful in suggesting places to visit, how to get there, etc. Very efficient in arranging transport to airport. Good location - 10 minute walk to old city and safe location - next to country's courts/tribunals. Room was small but clean and comfortable. Free internet and wi-fi access is a plus. Reasonable room rates. Honored Expedia quoted US rates on credit card transaction.

No me instalé en la habitación que pagué y por.el contrario me mudaron a un hotel 4 estrellas, lo único malo fué que no hubo aviso previo y me tuve que hospedar la primera noche en otro lado, pero fuera de ello todo estuvo excelente.
