Mas de L’Olivette is a charming sanctuary located near a traditional Hérault village, just a stone's throw from the handsome city of Montpellier. Step inside and discover three inviting living rooms and a spacious kitchen-diner with a breakfast bar. Thoughtfully designed to offer both relaxation and social spaces, the home features a Smart TV, billiard table, ping-pong, board games, and bicycles - ensuring entertainment for all ages.

The five attractive bedrooms offer space and privacy. On the ground floor, two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms and king-size beds (one of which can be configured as a twin) are complemented by a third bedroom with a queen-size double. Upstairs, two more bedrooms with queen-size beds share a bathroom, allowing Mas de L’Olivette to comfortably accommodate up to 10 guests.

Outside, the expansive garden provides plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. A large dining terrace with a barbecue is ideal for al-fresco meals, while the tennis court and swimming pool promise hours of fun when spending time with family or friends.

Located in a picturesque residential area, the villa is a 20-minute walk or short cycle/drive from the local village, which boasts a bakery, butcher, pizza restaurant and twice-weekly market, as well as a beautiful 11th-century church in the old quarter. Location:

In a forested area on a hill, Mas de L’Olivette is located in an attractive residential neighbourhood only 10km north of the cosmopolitan city of Montpellier. Fly to Montpellier-Méditerranée Airport (18km) or take the fast train to Montpellier Saint-Roch with TGV arrivals from Paris, Brussels and Barcelona.

It’s around a 20-minute walk or a short cycle ride/drive along local roads/pathways to a small, traditional Hérault village with a butchers, pharmacy, pizza restaurant and a twice-weekly weekly market. There is also a bakery for fresh bread, pastries and cakes in another part of the village. The old part of the hilltop village is home to a beautiful church dating back to the 11th century where music concerts occasionally take place. There are further amenities and large supermarkets within a 5 to 10-minute drive.  

A short drive takes you to Montpellier, a vibrant city with a perfect blend of historic charm and modern sophistication. Visit the iconic Place de la Comédie, stroll through the handsome historic centre, or marvel at the architectural wonder of the Fabre Museum. Montpellier is also home to an exceptional culinary scene, where you can indulge in fresh, locally-sourced dishes and fine wines.

Around half an hour by car, Palavas-les-Flots (25km) beckons with its lively beach vibe and coastal charm. Perfect for a day of sun and sea, this seaside resort offers sandy beaches, bustling promenades and traditional seafood restaurants. Further along the coast, the vibrant town of Sète (40km) is another superb day out by the coast – enjoy its award-winning sandy beach, soak up the town’s culture, look out for music and festivities and take a boat tour along the canals as you admire Sète’s colourful historic houses.   

For wine lovers, the region offers an exceptional opportunity to explore the Languedoc vineyards. From the medieval town of Sommières (33km) to the rugged terrain of Pic Saint-Loup (17km), the region’s vineyards produce some of the finest wines in France. Take a tour, meet the passionate winemakers, and enjoy tasting experiences that will delight your senses.

Explore further with day trips to the historical gems of Nîmes (65km), with its ancient Roman monuments, or the medieval beauty of Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert (40km), one of France’s classified ‘Plus Beaux Villages’.
