The staff was very friendly and did a nice job of trying to keep things positive considering what a mess the lobby was due to renovation, which the hotel desperately needs. The room and common areas felt dated and the shower was cold and did not drain. We did like the breakfast and pillows were comfy. Hopefully after the renovation the hotel will be more impressive.

I wound up needing to shorten my trip by a day - ending Monday, instead of Tuesday. I called the hotel on Saturday afternoon, but they said I’d have to talk with Hotels.com. I spoke with Hotels.com and they said they’d need to talk with the hotel. I tried this twice. When I asked the hotel, they acknowledged my checkout was changed to Monday. But, as of now (Wednesday afternoon), there was no credit to reflect the shortened stay.

Construction was happening. Our room was old, carpeting not clean. Bathroom walls and door dirty. Heater system loud. Hard to sleep. Although, beds were comfortable.

Everything was fine but the heat in our room left a lot to be desired! We slept in our clothes because it never got warm! Not much for blankets either and we normally sleep with our windows slightly open at the head of our bed at home even when it is below zero!!!
