The rooms are basic but nice. Except that the USB charger behind the bed was damaged and there was not enough space to plug the charging cube in the electric outlet. Just not the best headboard design. Sorry Accor/Ibis hotels, When you walk in the lobby, you will see a little round table that supposedly is the reception desk. I had to ask. The girl with glasses and a visible peach fuzz mustache was not very well trained. She had her eyes glued to her cell phone as if that was more important than the customer. Came here this weekend for the medieval festival. We asked her about it and she said “I have no idea”. She did not make eye contact or offered any help besides “googling” the location. She simply processed my credit card. No welcomes, no thank yous but she reminded me that the restaurant does not open on weekends. This hotel missed a great opportunity to attract guests and families to the Monthlhery medieval festival which has been organized for the past 8 years by the town. Instead, the place was a ghost town. Create packages, make noise about it and fill the rooms. I was at room 218 and I paid around 95 euros for it plus breakfast. Not a bad deal. The breakfast is ok. Not fantastic in spite of the fact that they won best breakfast award in 2022. Confusing, It’s 8.29AM and they ran out of yogurt. Confusing cause they have a sign that says “create your own yogurt”.
