Best thing about this place is the location. It is less than one minute walk from the train station elevator! It is so cute, with little touches from the owner that make it lovely. Note that it is VERY hot, and the air conditioning machine simply runs a fat tube to a window that has to stay open, so any cool air generated by the unit is overwhelmed by the heat blasting in from the open window. So the study, where the unit stays, ends up being the hottest room in the apartment! To sleep, we had to run the ceiling fan on high to even begin to cool down enough to go to sleep. Overall, the best way to cool off was to jump in the shower with cool water, frequently.So if you are not traveling when it is insanely hot out, you should find the place very old but cozy. The kitchen could use a few instructions--like, the burners won't heat up unless a pan is on one of them. But we figured it out, and everything g was fine. Easy access to the Place du Comedie and the old city, which is where everything is happening. Thank you!
