Business trip, with free time to kill

First time in Montpellier. Hotel Eurociel is conveniently situated just 5 mins walk from the heart of the old city (Place Comedie). The themed rooms were an interesting twist (I was in room 'Rhodes', floor 'Greece'). It left me itching to find out what 'Benelux' rooms were like - the starting point of my trip. The reception staff were very courteous and friendly. I would have liked to have used their large open terrace, but the cold weather did not permit. A walk in the 'Rue de l'Ancien Courrier' and its surrounding quarter (10 min walk) is a must.

Friendly, comfortable

Very friendly and helpful staff, excellent breakfast buffet (10 Euro extra) and a modern practical room made this stay pleasant. If the price would have been a bit lower it would have been a 5 star rating. We did a lot of sightseeing in the centre on foot, so also the central location was important for us.

Superbe hôtel. Pas très loin de la gare. Personnel sympathique et à l'écoute. Propreté et confort de la chambre.

Hôtel près de la gare

Pros: l'accueil, le confort de la literie, la proximité du centre ville.
Cons: aucun c'est un hôtel très récent
Location: les bords du Lez, aller prendre un café sur la place de la Comédie, le Payrou et son jardin, le Corum (centre culturel)
malgré la proximité de la gare et donc des trains, on n'est pas gêné par le bruit ; le petit escalier en colimaçon juste à côté de l'hôtel nous amène sur le quai du tram ce qui est très pratique pour circuler centre ville.
