Wanted to love it
. Just stayed in another AC a month ago and it was amazing. This one, not so much. The bathroom situation is horrible. The toilet and shower are half contained closets with zero privacy. If your partner goes to the bathroom in the middle of the night you are awoken with blinding light and the knowledge of exactly what they are doing since you are essentially using the bathroom in the bedroom. The designer obviously never used their design. Bathrooms and bedrooms should be separate spaces. God forbid you stayed here with any issues, there is no ventilation or privacy for the toilet. You get out of the shower with no hooks for a robe and a cold room dripping wet into your bedroom. The sink area is so minimalist there is no trash can for a tissue. Otherwise the hotel was lovely but the bathroom situation is completely unacceptable. My fault for not reading the reviews prior to booking because now i see i am not the only one that feels this way- but the Marriott’s response is ridiculous- its open concept/ European design?? Really they like to use the bathroom in front of each other in Europe? I really thought i could trust this brand to not have to read a review.. now i know.
