Loved the open floor plan and the in-suite laundry. So super clean! Well stocked kitchen tools. Safe area, lots of shops and eateries. Subway station is a short walk away. Lobby is plain and is not reflective of the quality of the room and the hallway is creepily dark. But other than that absolutely loved our stay.

Nice, clean, in a great location. Some off design choices with a few small changes would make the stay more enjoyable: drawers or places to store clothes, more seating areas/furniture, places to hang/dry towels, fix the shower leaking past the shower door into the main room, reconfigure the odd island based ‘bathroom’ sink - it has no mirror and no counter space.

Fantastic place to stay in Montreal

Wonderfully located, perfectly equipped and very clean. I loved the convenience and security! On a side street so also quiet. Bed was super comfortable. The space is extensive. Highly highly recommend David Hotel.

Pluses and minuses

There is much to recommend this hotel: location is ideal; room was spacious and clean. It has a full kitchen, and a clothes washer and dryer. It is not ideal if you wish to work n the room as there is no desk and to sit at the counter you need to use an uncomfortable steel stool. While there were cooking utensils, oddly there was no cutlery! The hotel and the area is undergoing renovation -- not necessarily a problem if you are out all day. But on day 2 of my stay -- a Friday -- the drilling and hammering in the suite next door started at 06:00 and continued throughout the morning. Unacceptable! While I communicated through the provided channels, like most new hotels with no front desk, there was zero response from management.

all surfaces look like poured concrete but are in fact recycled plastics -- very eco friendly!
This is the building and suite windows look out into this alley which was quite noisy with workers and folks starting cars in an 'echo-chamber'.
