The hotel is one of the best I’ve stayed at in Montreal. The room is clean and spacious, and while the breakfast is okay, I do wish the parking lot was the same as the hotel lot.

We selected this hotel due its geographic location (local meeting) ... it was not a pleasing experience. The good: check-in, good quality bedding. The not good: room was cheaply and sparsely furnished, the included continental breakfast offered few choices during the weekdays, less on the weekend. On the Saturday morning, the restaurant attendant did nothing but collect guest vouchers while dirty plates and detritus accumulated all over the tables ... this was in contrast to the Friday morning when the attendant was active in cleaning tables and welcoming guests as they entered ... it seemed as if the staff had no clear instruction of what their responsibilities were. The immediate area around the hotel was barren of any options to avoid the poor breakfast offerings in walking distance.

There’s nothing around to see or visit . There TV and Phone not working for 2 nights we stayed. No maintenance guy to fix a broken tv or phone or at least they can find something for us to move room. Over all it’s a bad stay. Not happy for the service!

This area has a high incidence of car theft, and the hotel parking lot is known to be one of the frequent targets. Unfortunately, the hotel staff has been unable to implement effective measures to prevent these incidents, leading to continued inconvenience for guests.

Photos are not what they seem

The check-in was so slow we waited after a long drive for 45 minutes. Then each area of the hotel had a very unique and unusual smell. This was unsettling itself was satisfactory. You can tell that there is age on the building. The renovations have at least made it comfortable bed however, after our walk around Montreal, we returned to find the elevator not working. We had to then walk out four flights of stairs, which is very uncomfortable for my injured husband‘s knee as well. The windows were disgusting. When you open to look outside all it was was dirty and then when I woke up in the morning to take a shower, I could not get any warm water. I had to take a cold shower. The parking was across a busy street which if you have kids is very kind as well. We parked underneath a busy highway bridge. It felt very unsafe to leave my car there. There were other abandoned cars in this location,Breakfast had a lot of waste and served all the cheapest quality and ingredients for breakfast bruised apples, cheap white bread margarine I’m not sure the eggs were real eggsI will not be returning.
