Overpriced for what you get. Pool is tiny with 2 shallow ends and a deep spot in the middle. Someone was doing private lessons while we were there. Gym is tiny, unimpressive. Air system is noisy at night, made it hard to sleep. Staff were not particularly friendly. Never responded to queries prior to trip, even when Expedia intervened.

The hotel doesn’t provide any of the basic amenities expected of a 4 star hotel, no disposable slippers, bathrobes or even umbrellas to borrow. The location is fine and transit was convenient, but the cleaning staff did accidentally throw out my sleeping mask I left on the bed and that was upsetting to me because now I have to continue my trip without it. Also quite dusty in the corners which makes me think that the cleaning team is most likely understaffed.

This was my first time planning a trip with Expedia and it was excellent. I got a pretty decent deal on my hotel. The hotel was very clean and quiet, convenient to get around easily on the metro. Staff were friendly. I would highly recommend staying here. I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is in a wonderful location right on St. Catherine Street. The higher floors have an amazing view of downtown Montreal. The room was clean and comfortable. I'll definitely be staying here again.

Breakfast was good ( scrambled eggs were a bit dry) but overall great with the bacon quiche. the hotel has bad technology for credit cards - tap does not work & most transactions have to go through the reception desk.Also long wait to get a receipt.

Potentially great hotel let down by cost saving measures and very poor service. The rooms are lovely and spacious. Clean and comfortable. It looks like a really nice place. HOWEVER. Completely let down by some bizarre decisions that ruined a potentially really nice place. - no kettle. Why? It's a 4 star hotel. Just provide a kettle. - no cups or glasses. Instead provided with paper cups. Why? Again, not expensive or difficult to provide these in a 4 star hotel. - our main issue: no hot water. Eventually we were moved to a different room that had hot water (after 36 hours) but the staff were very rude about it. Otherwise could have been a lovely hotel and a good stay.

Lovely hotel. An excellent stay overall, the room was beautiful and clean, and I would definitely consider staying there again the next time I’m in Montreal. The view of the city and Mount Royal from our room on the 28th floor was remarkable. There is a large grocery store in the adjacent building that is accessible through the hotel lobby without going outside. There is a pharmacy, convenience stores, and lots of restaurants around the hotel. My only less positive comments are that: 1) I have a minor mobility issue and the hotel was a little far for me to walk to Vieux-Port; and, 2) I was staying for a conference that took place in the hotel, and the temp in the meeting rooms was very cold.
