The apartment we stayed in was excellent, and there was lots to do in the surrounding areas within walking distance. I would definitely stay at Sonder again.

The apartment is a condo-style with kitchen (including utensils, pots, toaster, kettle, coffee maker and dishwasher) and washer/dryer combo (with iron and board). This makes some meal prep possible, convenience stores are closest to the hotel but some real grocery stores are within walking distance. The keyless entry was very convenient for multiple users, but the door had some hiccups (code failed sometimes, could have been due to deadbolt slightly engaged but not locking the door). Wifi and free TV channels to watch when not enjoying Old Montreal with many dining and local attractions nearby. Hotel is very clean and modern with a gym and rooftop patio. Little staff interaction was required during the stay as notices/info were posted in several places.

Disappointing Changes Since Last Stay

A bit unusual this time — not like before. There were people with a pot of boiled seafood on the terrace? That was a bit hard to tolerate. The room is more expensive, yet smaller than during previous stays. The Sonder app didn’t work properly, and checking in was difficult. My booking history disappeared. No bathroom amenities, although the holders are still there :) The coffee machine in the lobby is also gone now.

This is a good location a few blocks up from the busy more touristy streets, which have more noisy rooms. Lots of space in the mini suite and good value. The French Restaurant at the end of the street is fantastic.

Great location and spacious room. Rooftop terrace was nice added bonus. Loved the contactless check-in. Parking was initially challenging to locate but fine once we asked for help. Room got a lot of street noise at night despite being on the 6th floor and in a quieter section of old town. Overall, great stay. I would book here again.

Very nice place. Looks new inside, nice location in old Montreal. Only negative is no parking and lot beside is sketchy. Have to drive a bit to get underground parking.

Some of the cutlery was dirty. The bedroom was a bit awkward where only one person can get off the bed comfortably. The reception desk is awkwardly placed, so anyone can enter the building through the elevators at the front. Our room was downgraded without our consent, I emailed them twice and no one responded. Overall the stay was good, just could have been better with some minor improvements. They did suprise us with a bottle of wine as we celebrated a special occasion.

A perfect place to stay in Old Mtl. Super clean and quiet. Waking distance to everything. We walked everywhere from the Old Port to Bell Centre. The chat feature is super convenient. Roof top patio and gym is lovely. It felt like a home away from home. Like a modern condo stay. I will always look for Sonder locations when I travel for now on.
