2.Luggage Drop-Off:
Luggage drop-off is permitted only before the check-in time and not after the check-out time.

3. No Smoking Indoors 🚭
Smoking inside is strictly prohibited. Use designated outdoor areas. Penalty: $500.

4. Pet Policy 🐾
Pets are welcome, with a maximum of 2 pets per stay and an additional fee. Notify us in advance.

Keep noise to a minimum between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Let’s respect our neighbors.

6. No Parties or Events 🎉❌
Parties, large gatherings, and events are not allowed. Penalty: $1,000, plus immediate termination of your stay without a refund.

Secure all windows and doors when leaving. We are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Smoke alarms are essential safety devices and must not be disabled, covered, removed, or tampered with for any reason. This includes removing batteries, covering alarms to prevent activation, or interfering with them in any way.

Any tampering, misuse causing a false alarm, or intentional disabling of a smoke alarm will result in a $500 penalty, plus any additional costs incurred (including building fines, fire department charges, or maintenance repairs). Continued violations may lead to immediate termination of the stay without refund, in line with house rules and platform policies.

I’ve enjoyed a number of VRBO stays in the past, so this review pains me to make. The door from the street had no lock, so anyone could go inside to the 4 units of the location. Entryway filthyNo handrail for steep 2 flight climbNo thermostat and the apartment was coldBlack wooden side chair in living room almost came apart when my husband sat on itBack door to balcony unlocked, and only locked with great effortApart from large bed, the other mattresses were uncomfortable and had springs that would move when the person shifted - my daughter had to sleep on the couchNo extra blankets and the unit was coldTV plugged into extension cord that lay across the large bedroom doorway - we unplugged it, as it was a tripping riskWe stayed one night then left. There were some other issues which could have been addressed, but there was no point in remediating them as we were leaving regardless.

Good location to Bell centre and metro. Less than a 5 min walk to grocery store. Hosts were very responsive. Street parking is hard to find but parking garage about a 10 min walk. Would definitely stay at this location again.

My three friends and I stayed in the City Haven Loft in Montreal from Nov 21-24th. The place is a good deal for the price (4 bedrooms) and the host was very communicative. However, the listing is incorrect and attempts to rectify this issue with the host left me with a bad feeling about the place. Briefly, the place is listed as having "On-site parking". This means there is parking on the premises of the apartment. This is untrue. SO, if you click on parking included to do a search, this will come up but parking is not included. There is street metered parking from 9 am to 11 pm (8 every two hours which you have to run back and forth to replenish) or a parking garage around the corner (26/night) but I only found that out after I arrived and found, to my dismay, there was NO on-site parking but only "Off-site parking". Honestly, had the host been honest with me about the parking, I would not have stayed there since parking is always an issue and an added monetary burden. Also, I found out after that I could have applied for a temporary parking permit through the city of Montreal which would have allowed me to park in the numerous permit parking spaces around the apartment but of course, since I was coming with the assumption that the parking was "On-site", I didn't think I had to research parking alternatives. I suggested to the host that he add that information to his listing and remove the deceptive "on-site parking" information.
