Very functional cute room, it had everything we needed and as the advantage of staying very close to the downtown and the heart of Montreal. The bed wasn’t very comfortable but the rest of the amenities were ok.

The couch and rug in the unit are getting tired and need a good cleaning or replacement. The building is in excellent condition and has a great city view. Parking can be a challenge even at the underground parking next door. Overall I would still come back and rent again.

Our stay in Montreal

The apartment was perfect for 2 people. It had a nice city view from our 8th floor. If your a light sleeper there is lots of construction noise. The location is great for catching a bus or train. No parking available at the place so parking can be an issue. When we arrived, the APP was not working to get into our room, however, having a person on sight came and resolved the issue immediately. He was very responsive to our needs and gave us some helpful hints about the city.

Would stay here again. Great location. FYI master bedroom has no door, only a curtain. Weird. Bare bones but again for location it’s worth it. Sofa is very uncomfortable. Fitted sheets would be a good idea. Otherwise bed is comfortable. No curtains so feel exposed, need to keep blinds down

This is a hotel that a company or time share have blocked rooms for rental. The only time a person is in sight is at 4:00 pm every night, which is check-in time. The people at the desk work for the hotel & tell you, you have to call Werfy Luxury Appartments for your needs. I spilt something on the elevator & had asked the front desk for paper towels or a cloth to clean it up & they would not help me. After all, guest use their hotel also & you would think they would help you with something like that. We arrived a couple of hours early & had to pay an extra $100 for early check-in. We sat in our car for an hour waiting for a call back or message. Then I realized that if you wanted any additional service you had to make an electronic payment thru their link before you get any response. By the time I was notified that I could get in my room it cost me $100 for an extra hour. I have stayed in plenty of hotels out of the country & have never been charged for arriving an hour or two early. Rooms are clean & provide you with everything you have at home, except for tissues. The location of the hotel is about a 10 minute ride to both downtown & the old port. All of the restaurants we saw in the area were mostly pizza, subs & fast food. We spent our time in the Old City & loved the area. That is where we will stay the next time.

Filthy, Mold in Shower, Bugs on Shades

No response from management to this: This is the second time we have stayed at an apartment/hotel. Your unit is poorly managed and repulsive. 1. The bathroom sink is slow to drain. 2) While some of the shower tile is clean, alot of it is full of yellow mold. Why wouldn't you clean the grout! 3) There is black mold in the shower drain. Why wouldn't you have the drain cleaned! 1/4 cup of baking soda and 1 cup of white vinegar would clear the drain of black mold. 4) The area rug in the bedroom is filthy. Why wouldn't you clean the area rug! 5) The area rug in the living room is filthy. My daughter pointed out a dead centipede. Why wouldn't you vacuum and clean the area rug! 6) The shade in the living room is full of dead bugs. Why wouldn't you clean the shade! Again, management made no attempt to rectify this. There was simply a robo response thanking me for the feedback and indicating management would be informed. This is a disappointment. You should take notes from The Roost. Their apartment/hotel units are impeccably clean.

We loved staying in Griffintown and used Bixi to get around for the week. The rooms are well enough equipped. It was a bit hot (but the week was super hot) and the little AC unit tried its best. The hosts were responsive and helpful.

This place is a total scam. We booked a “city view” room through Expedia — what we got was a dirty, ground-level apartment with no view, no curtains in the living room, and zero privacy. There were spider webs, no parking, and filthy windows. But worse — when we asked for help, no one answered for hours, their is no reception. When we finally reached the manager, he screamed at us, cursed, and told us he wouldn’t refund anything or talk to Expedia. We felt unsafe and had to leave that night and book a new hotel. Avoid this place at all costs. It’s all fake reviews, just a trap. I hope Expedia takes this place down, i reported them as well.

The property was in a good location, walking distance to the centre of Montreal and the old town/port. The apartment was a good size for the 2 of us, some of the furniture had seen better days, the kitchen equipment was a little complicated to use and could have used a few more implements (chopped board & bread knife for example). Had air-con which was a god send in the hot weather. Hotel reception was nothing to do with the WERFY and staff not on site but available on WhatsApp to answer questions staff met us on day of check in and gave us key cards so didn’t need to use the key facility on phone as ask to which was better. No facilities to leave baggage after check out time, late check out available but only until 2pm (cost for extra 3 hour, I thought was a little steep!)
