Great location

Glad we chose here vs another local option, a great room overlooking the main square. Also glad we planned not to take in much luggage due to stairs that I find challenging, as these were more challenging than most. Our host helped with our luggage which was appreciated. Liked the town too.

Friendly, great location, a little noisy

Arrived around 5pm but hotel is closed till restaurant opens at 6pm. When we arrived we were greeted with a friendly smile and a hand with our bags. The rooms are clean and basic. Our room was right at the front and with the windows opened the sound of the traffic was loud.

Not one for the infirm.

The main drawback with this hotel is the precipitous staircase to the bedrooms which is narrow, curving and with little headroom in places. Once you are there the bedrooms are modern and well appointed although our bedroom had an unnecessarily small basin. Dinner was excellent and breakfast good value at e8.00. Great Easter decorations and obviously popular with locals for dinner

Nous avons Ă©tĂ© accueilli assez froidement par l’un des deux propriĂ©taires de l’établissement. Il nous a demandĂ© si nous souhaitions un petit dĂ©jeuner le lendemain matin, chose que nous avons dĂ©clinĂ©, ne sachant pas l’heure Ă  laquelle nous allions nous lever ( Petit dĂ©jeuner servi dans la salle du restaurant appartenant Ă  l’hĂŽtel de 7h Ă  10h ) . Le lendemain, aprĂšs avoir passĂ© une nuit assez difficile dans une literie peu confortable et dans un hĂŽtel assez bruyant, je dĂ©cide de demander si il est possible d’avoir un petit dĂ©jeuner malgrĂ© mon refus de la veille. Il est 9h40 , les propriĂ©taires , aprĂšs s’ĂȘtre moquĂ© sans discrĂ©tion, me disent qu’il est impossible de dĂ©jeuner et qu’il fallait le dire la veille et qu’ils n’ont pas de viennoiseries ( chose que je n’ai pas demandĂ©e) . Pour rappel, le restaurant reçoit des clients une heure plus tard , ils ont du pain et forcĂ©ment le nĂ©cessaire pour servir un petit dĂ©jeuner si ils le souhaitent. Mais , non ! Devant leur manque Ă©vident de professionnalisme, je leur souligne que ce n’est pas trĂšs commerçant de leur part mais sans rĂ©sultats. Je n’ai eu que pour rĂ©ponse que je n’étais qu’un client capricieux et qu’ils n’attendaient pas aprĂšs moi pour avoir du travail. Je souhaitais simplement prendre un cafĂ© et pourquoi manger un petit morceau de pain ! Tel Ă©tait mon caprice apparemment
 Incapable de gĂ©rer un imprĂ©vu ( assez facile Ă  gĂ©rer normalement) , je leur conseille sincĂšrement de changer de mĂ©tier .

Nous avons passĂ© 2 nuits, l'hĂŽtel est calme, l'accueil y est chaleureux aussi bien l'aprĂšs-midi qu'au petit dĂ©jeuner. Merci Ă  l'Ă©quipe, nous regrettons juste de n'avoir pas eu assez de temps pour deguster un repas oĂč tout est fait maison. Nous recommandons cet endroit.
