What a gem of a find! True to its name, this was a happy and peaceful place for the 4 days we were on Moorea. This property is very well kept and our bungalow spotless and well stocked with kitchen necessities. Loved having our own outdoor living/dining patio space and access to the pool, jacuzzi and lounge chairs to enjoy the lovely sunsets. The daily breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Thank you to the warm, welcoming and helpful staff of Fare Oaoa Haapiti!

We had the most amazing stay, attention from the staff at every turn, this is so much more intimate than staying in a hotel! We loved the freshly prepared breakfast every morning, the cold swimming pool, enjoying the sunsets from our private beach, the kayaks and how much care was taken to make sure we had an unforgettable stay!! This was our second stay at Fare Oaoa and we couldn’t be happier. Kathy and the entire staff are absolutely wonderful & the property is beautiful. The A/C works perfectly well, you just have to have the patio door closed.. which is a smart feature. The pool was perfect and the complimentary use kayaks & snorkel gear is a wonderful touch. And don’t get me started on the breakfast…. generous portions of fresh local fruits, delicious breads & cheese, yogurts, protein variations of egg omelettes or cold cuts & always a sweet little treat to save for later. They really think of everything and take such good care of their guests. I can’t wait to return!!

Cute bed and breakfast. There is a market across the street. You need a rental car to stay here. It is not in a tourist area. The hospitality dog was so sweet. The kayaks were nice to use. Everyone is nice, there is a language barrier if you don’t speak French or Tahitian but that is to be expected.

Very comfortable- much better than a hotel room. I enjoyed the outdoor covered deck, footsteps from the lagoon and kayaking. Breakfast was great. And the adorable geckos.

We had a wonderful stay here! The property is gorgeous and the staff is so friendly and accommodating. Serendipitous single-night stay

Immaculately maintained guest cottages and beach garden in a quiet gated setting. We enjoyed lounging and eating breakfast on our private deck with pretty ocean views. This small resort is supurbly equipped for kayaking and snorkeling.

We stayed one day but me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our time here! It was a convient and beautiful location right on the beach. Very serene and romantic feel to the place. My only complaint is that our room did have a bit of a odd smell but I think that was do to the rugs , personally I feel carpet and beach do not mix but other than that I would recommend this place and stay here again! The owner was very nice and staff was helpful.

Gem of Moorea

Unique and utterly serene, Fare Oaoa is the one lodging spot in the islands that I would return to. Our bungalow was 15 soft-sand footsteps from the beach. With a small pool, jacuzzi, kayaks, and inner tubes on offer, it was tempting to stay on property forever. Only gripes: annoying a/c system and birds who feasted messily on leftovers at night.
