Slade Stables is a beautifully restored stable conversion, thoughtfully rebuilt to create a light and spacious Cotswold retreat. Sleeping four guests (no children aged seven or under permitted) in two stylish bedrooms, each with its own ensuite, this single-level property combines charm and practicality throughout. The open plan living area features a comfortable sitting space and a well-equipped kitchen with dining table, perfect for relaxing with family or friends after a day exploring. Outside the front door, there’s a lovely spot for a BBQ, ideal for enjoying the peaceful rural surroundings. From the doorstep, enjoy scenic walks through stunning countryside, with chances to spot local wildlife, birds, and even a herd of deer among the wild orchids in nearby woodland. For a delicious breakfast or lunch, the Cotswold Food Store and Cafe are just a short stroll away.

We loved the location of Slade Stables, as it wasn't too far from a main road, and yet was so peaceful.It was well furnished and maintained, with everything you need.It was nice being met on arrival and Jane was very helpful throughout our stay.The only slight disappointment, was the description of walks directly from the property. It's true that you can walk from there, but it wasn't quite as I had imagined it. But this didn't spoil our holiday.Lots to see and do in the local area.Thank you Jane.

Slade Stables is charming, it's very well designed with two ensuite showers, all very high quality, very clean and well equipped. It has lovely views of the surrounding countryside. Amazing place from which to explore the Cotswolds

Slade Stables is one of the best vacation rentals we've stayed in of dozens. The location is perfect for exploring the Cotswolds and also ideal for rest and relaxation, with gorgeous and tranquil surroundings (including amazing sunset views). You will be very close to some of the most idyllic villages in the Cotswolds, including Blockley, Broadway, the Slaughters and Chipping Camden, and not far at all from many others. Our hosts were incredible, so generous with their time showing us the best walks, answering questions about local customs, and offering ideas for where to go and what to do. They clearly want their guests to have the best experience possible. They are attentive, but they also leave you to yourself -- the perfect balance. The rental itself is immaculate. Not only is it exceptionally clean, it is expertly renovated with high-quality finishes everywhere and the benefit of thoughtful design. Sometimes when we stay in rentals that have been renovated, there are "get-me-over" types of design decisions made (understandably) because the space is for temporary use. This is not the case with Slade Stables -- it's renovated with the attention to detail that people want for their homes. Overall, we feel so fortunate to have been able to stay in Slade Stables.

We had a lovely two night stay at Slade Stables. Very comfortable, quiet and peaceful in a beautiful spot. A short drive away from everything we needed. Our first VRBO - Exceptional property

My husband and I rented this cottage while traveling abroad. Every aspect of this rental was exceptional. All amenities we could ever hope for were there. We enjoyed the welcome basket, peace and quiet and cleanliness of the property. Property is incredibly well cared for (seemed like a new renovation), location was very easy for us to find. Full service kitchen, fast WiFi, Netflix, comfortable linens. We had plenty of space to spread out and were quite pleased with our stay. Beautiful cottage in a great centralized location

Perfect little cottage in a quiet location situated back from the road. Views from the property overlook a small horse farm and rolling hills which are simply beautiful. The cottage was impeccably clean and was supplied with ample towels as well as some milk, eggs, breads, some wine and beer for our stay. I couldn’t find find any fault with the property whatsoever. The property is in a great location with other Cotswold villages short drives away. I can’t wait to return for another stay.
