Christmas with family

The owner had created a very comfortable open space with the conversion of a duplex into one 5-bedroom vacation home. It allowed our family of 7 to be comfortably together as we celebrated Christmas. Check-in and check-out were simple. We really enjoyed our stay. It would help if the Vrbo site had a photo of the exterior because the numbering of the other houses and buildings were not sequential making difficult to find the house. The Google map directions and showed a picture of the house during its renovation. The owner responded well to my messages to him.

Graduation Weekend

We were a little skeptical when the owner had no exterior pictures of the property, but the house was really nicely done on the inside. There were some discrepancies between the listing and the actual property (original listing had room for 14 when it was 12, had 7 parking spots listed but those are shared with the lower level and the couches were not pull outs). The interior is brand new and is a great open space where we could all hang out. Bed rooms were fine. Kitchen has all the essentials. Location was great to get to the WVU campus. The only real negative is that the street that the property is on is basically an alley and some of the near by properties look a little run down. It beat staying in a hotel for the busy weekend. Property manager was very helpful and responded quickly.
