Nice well maintained older property

Everything was clean and looked good. There was a lot of street noise that lasted till well after midnight. One of the odd things is the toilet is quite low. Don’t know why. The shower was wonderful. $ 20.00 for parking. Did not care for the breakfast menu, went down the street to eat.

Cute hotel walkable to downtown campus of WVU. I would have loved if the room came with a couple complimentary water bottles instead of $7. Otherwise, our short stay was nice.

Staff are super nice. You have to ask questions though. Check in very simple but all was said was here is your key card. Nothing about Wi-Fi, check out time, complimentary coffee and tea bar in lobby. Nothing about bar and food hours. Room is sparse but comfortable. Air conditioning very noisy, sound proofing not very good with a lot of street noise coming in. But location is excellent, bed and room very clean. The shampoo and body wash dispensers barely let any product out. The shower pressure was Amazing and water temp Hot! I paid $136 for. Double queen , which was a fabulous price. Overall I would stay here again at that price.

The valet was so punctual and very helpful!!!! I lived my room!!!! Loved the decor and the shower 🚿!!! The desk lamp had a dimmer so it was a perfect night light. There’s worked perfectly. I never had to wait long. The Fri t desk girl was very helpful as well with person requests! 5 starts !

Just an OK visit

This was our second stay at the Hotel Morgan. The Pros - location. It's a great walkable site. Restaurants, stores and the PRT and WVU main campus are all nearby. The bar is now open! woo-hoo. It was not open during our last visit. This made for a livelier lobby area. Friendly staff. Cons - Expensive valet. I called in advance and was told that parking was $15 a night. When we got their valet was $20 a night. You are expected to tip every time you need your car. This can get expensive. Our room was not dirty but also not spotless. The hotel has a no-pet policy - yet a woman on our floor had a younger dog, and it made a mess right outside of the elevator - it was there for hours, and I had to let management know about it. Gross and careless pet owner. However, why was there a dog in the hotel? Water in the fridge in our room - nice - until I saw the $7!! price tag. Come on, Hotel Morgan - do better.
