Cosy little cottage in Brightwaters, NSW, close to the shores of Lake Macquarie. A standalone home next to our abode at the higher point of the hill giving you glimpses of the lake and sea breezes. Nothing fancy, but a clean, quiet and safe place to stay. Each bedroom has its own bathroom, with the lower bathroom also equipped with a washer and dryer. There is enough space for one car to park on the property, and additional parking is available on the street. The kitchen includes a stove, oven, kettle, toaster, coffee grinder, and coffee plunger. Outside, there's a BBQ on the deck and a fire pit on the lawn.

We love animals but in the interest of the local birds, wildlife and fencing we have a "no pets policy."

-Close to lake access. Launch your boat or fish along the shore line with access to the water down the road.

It was very welcoming and homely upon driving up the driveway. The birds of a morning were wonderful to listen to. We even saw a king parrot one morning. We stayed there as it was in the same street as family, but if you were using as a base, still fabulous and close to wherever you’re going.Very quiet area and nice walks close by the water.

Really enjoyed our relaxing stay at Brightwater. Great little cottage, very clean & tidy with all the appliances you need. Very peaceful to sit on the veranda & watch the birds. Checking in & out was very easy & George the owner was lovely to deal with - thank you! Awesome location that allowed us to travel & enjoy the Hunter Valley, Newcastle & the Entrance. Amazing Location and Host!

We had a great experience staying here. The location is amazing with close proximity to the lake. It is very peaceful and we had a surprisingly awesome star gazing experience from the property itself! The host George is very helpful and approachable. We had no issues and George had made the fire pit ready for us to use before we got there. The kids loved it too. Highly recommended!
