The Photos are of a Model
We stayed a total of 15 minutes out of a 2-month booking because the apartment we were issued was not the same one from the photos. The listing does not explain that the photos come from a model. Ours was a downgraded apartment that had several incomplete renovations, broken window glass, and worn and damaged furniture. The listing also does not give a street name, so the precise location cannot be searched before booking. We received the address and check-in information only two hours before we arrived instead of a week. We were disappointed and also afraid when we arrived because the apartment complex did not feel safe. My husband refused to allow us to stay there because I would often be home alone. The positives, both VRBO and the owner did respond right away when we contacted them about the apartment. Unfortunately, neither party helped rectify the situation. I am writing an honest review because I don't want other travelers to experience the same loss (of a lot of money) that we did. The listing should really be updated to be more accurate.
