Rothbury is a charming market town with a great mix of independent shops, pubs and places to eat – all within easy walking distance. You will also find an 18-hole golf course and outdoor tennis court nearby. Walk to the National Trust’s Cragside House to visit this masterpiece of late 19th-century architecture and stroll through its extensive landscaped gardens, then travel to Brinkburn Priory and Manor House, to see a complete monastic church in an enchanting setting. Walkers and cyclists will want to head into the surrounding Simonside Hills for long hikes and trails. Magnificent Alnwick Castle is just 12 miles away, and the coast at Alnmouth is 16.5 miles, where there’s a sandy beach, an excellent golf course and a pretty village to explore.
From the shared entrance, step through your front door and into the open-plan living space, where you’ll find a modern, compact kitchen that contains everything you’ll need to prepare holiday meals, including a fridge with an ice box, and a microwave. There’s a dining table by the window and, when you’re ready to relax, comfortable seating and a Smart TV.
