friendly and attentive hosts

Pros: Breakfast and comfortable bed.
Cons: Price - a little overpriced for the location.
Location: There is nothing in walking distance but it is only a few miles drive to Warkworth Castle and a little further to Alnwick.
Couldn't fault hosts in their efforts to do everything they could to make stay comfortable. No amount of effort could alter the location however. View over garages with people working on their cars - literally right outside . It was impossible to have the curtains open without an audience which, given the size of the bedroom, would be no good for claustrophobics. Breakfast was lovely with every attention to detail. Would recommend if you need an overnight stay to travel to Alnwick Castle.
