Clean & Conveniently Located

The Blufftop Inn is clean & cozy and very conveniently located to the Embarcadero in Morro Bay. The staff are the only reason I am not a huge fan. We had a situation with a broken down vehicle and requested a later check out, and we were charged $58 for staying 1.5 hrs past 11 am even though the hotel was completely empty and we were the only people there. I would have appreciated empathy and understanding with a completely empty hotel and town.

It’s a hidden gem. Every inch of the room is updated. The design, decors, beddings and amenities are well curated. The staff is efficiently reach out to remind me of my reservation. That extra call made the extra difference. This is going to be our go to place. I love the access to the beach and hiking trails.

The room was very comfortable and obviously had recently been updated. BUT the floor was very dirty. When I took my socks off after walking around the room, they were black. The walls are also pretty thin, but fortunately all of our fellow guests were very quiet. I left my phone in the room upon departure, and management held it for me until I got back. Would stay again.
