Cosy apartment

Stayed here over the New Year and it was perfect. There were four of us (2 adults and 2 children) and the apartment accommodated comfortably and was clean and well equipped. It is perfectly located i.e ski in (if you ski. We snowboarded so found it difficult making it across the flat run back through the town), ski out straight onto the slopes leading to three chairlifts, opposite the ski school, and just next door to a supermarket, bars, and restaurants. The key collection experience was very easy, you just give the key holder (Vincent) a call on arrival and he meets you in the lobby and takes you up to the apartment. He lives in the same block so any issues he is on hand. We didn’t come across which was good. Philippe and Cecile (the owners) called me the day before our arrival to advise that we should call Vincent to provide our estimated time of arrival to ensure he would be there which I thought was lovely of them to do as it put my mind at ease that the booking was confirmed and genuine. We love Avoriaz and have been going for the past three years. It’s just such a lovely family orientated village, especially over the festive season. We would not hesitate to stay in this apartment again if it’s available for our next visit.

Great location but a bit shabby

The apartment was not cleaned when we arrived, and the owner and agent kept referring us to each other, in the end we had to clean ourselves. With a full professional cleaning the place would be a good 'cheap and cheerful' place to stay, except that it is not so cheap compared to other equivalent properties. Its a pity because the location is truly excellent, within 100m of supermarket, bars (some noise from these at night), shops and children's ski school, and right on the main slope. With a bit of renovation this would make a great place to stay.

10 étages , ascenseur à perfectionner

Ascenseur parfois en panne (heureusement qu'on était pas dedans à ce moment là...!!). Grosse panne de courant le samedi soir (1h30, on a mangé froid ; heureusement qu'on était toujours pas dans l'ascenseur...) Il manquait les casiers à skis au rez de chaussée, sinon impeccable.

appartement très bruyant la nuit par la présence d'un bar en bas de l'immeuble qui diffuse de la musique à l’extérieur. appartement qui manque d'entretien ( robinets qui fuient, porte manteau qui ne tiennent plus, porte de placard qui se décrochent). en positif belle vue du balcon et immeuble bien placé au pied des pistes.

studio très fonctionnel

studio conforme à la description, petit mais très fonctionnel et bien agencé, idéal pour 3 personnes, propriétaire très aimable et accommodant. Le studio est bien situé au coeur de la station, en face du village des enfants. L'accueil, remise des clés et état des lieux entrée / sortie par les personnes de la Maison d'Avoriaz est très bien. Commerces, pharmacie, restaurants sont à proximité, mais aussi 3 bars au pied de l'immeuble, donc petit bémol par rapport à ça : si vous voulez dormir la nuit, n'oubliez pas les boules quies !

Les skis aux pieds

Superbes vacances à Avoriaz, station où rien ne manque... parc aquatique, cinéma, restaurants, bars, magasins, patinoire... Le studio est idéalement situé au pied des pistes et à proximité du petit magasin Sherpa... L'organisation par "La maison d'Avoriaz" de la remise des clefs et l'états des lieux étaient très bien. Un gros plus pour l'Aquariaz (piscine) en famille un petit bémol pour les bars qui sont parfois un peu bruyant, mais franchement étant au 10ième étage c'était beaucoup plus supportable j'imagine qu'un studio plus bas...
