This architectural designed Bach with Mirrored Sleeping Wings - perfect for two families or groups to enjoy being together but also enjoying being able to have their own sleeping and bathroom space (each wing sleeps 6).

To also be enjoyed by couples or individuals!!

The central living area is the heart of the home, with large glass sliding doors opening on to a sunny deck – perfect to sit together at the 12-seater table with doors wide open to the deck in summer, or beside the toasty, glowing fire in the cooler months.

The modern open plan kitchen has a fantastic kitchen bench and all appliances making communal cooking inclusive and even fun! There is a handy BBQ - perhaps to cook that freshly caught fish!!

Across the road is a reserve for those games of cricket or just to run around and simply play, plus there is a tennis court and basketball court 1 minute away. The home is in a family-friendly suburb with children riding bikes and scooters, offering a relaxed, classic New Zealand neighbourhood feel.

Located less than 30 minutes South of Taupo and less than 10 minutes North of Turangi this central location is perfect to access a wide range of year-round activities including fishing, boating, water sports, snow sports, mountain biking and the Tokaanu Hot Pools. Motuoapa Marina is less than a 5-minute drive from the house and if you feel like a dip in the beautiful, refreshing Lake Taupo take a 5-minute drive down the road to the lovely Oruatua Recreational Reserve. Stunning! There is also the renown Liquorice Café down the road.

Concert weekend

Great location, and a beautiful house, had everything we needed and not too far from Taupō.The house was very hot and could do with air conditioning in the summer months. Wifi would have been a bonus. Overall, experience was good, great communication with the host, responding quickly.

Clean and comfy!

The property was very clean, with lots of sleeping options. I can imagine a couple of families staying comfortably in this home. The kitchen is great, and there are plenty of vessels for cooking in. We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing home with the perfect set up for families and couples. Lovely clean home with a warm feel to it, we didn't want to leave! Great communication with Ross. Short 10 min walk to lakefront/marina. Suggest stopping in at Licorice Cafe, doing the short Motuoapa Lookout walk, and driving 10-15 mins north to Bullipoint picnic stop. We will definitely be coming back!!

Wi-Fi-disappointment

As we fully understand the owners idea of wanting to have a bach with no internet and instead focus on the company and all the amazing things to do in the area, it did give us quite a problem not being able to go on line during our stay. Coming from abroad we don’t have access to internet (w/o paying a fortune) and all the planning of activities became a hassle. Nice layout of the house. Functional. Spacious. We recommend it but be aware of the lack of Wi-Fi.
