Great place to stay for the price.

Recently remodeled. Very clean. Our room was in the back and very quiet. Breakfast was pretty good. Coffee was good. Waffle maker worked good. Had yogurt and oatmeal. Would definitely stay here again. Staff was great.

Well, the outside doesn’t look exciting. What is exciting is the incredible upgrades and improvements in the rooms. It looks to have been remodeled very recently with extremely comfortable beds, bedding, soft towels, and huge TVs. This is definitely one of those times that you should not judge a book by its cover not to say the outside is gross or disgusting in anyway it’s just very simple and understated. Extremely friendly staff as well.

I stayed one night at Clarion Pointe in Mount Vernon and had a great experience. The room was very spacious, clean, and affordable—perfect for a quick overnight stay. Check-in was super easy, even though I arrived around midnight after taking the ferry from Orcas Island to Anacortes. I had a 2-hour drive to the airport the next morning, and this stay made everything much more relaxing. Would definitely stay here again when passing through!

This facility was convenient for a San Juan Islands ferry trip. Overall the hotel is clean and well kept up. However the first night we stayed the bathroom sink was totally stopped up: would not drain at all. A week later when we stayed we were in a different room, whose only problem was the bedside clock, permanently set an hour early. Nothing we tried would correct it! We were disappointed with the breakfast; the only protein available was peanut butter, cream cheese, or yogurt. All other offerings were carbohydrates.

Brand new! Fresh!

Don't let this style of "motel" deter you from booking! Brand new remodel, new owners, fresh bright, clean. And I mean, really clean, not just a fresh coat of paint to hide old smells! I'm fairly picky and was pleasantly surprised!

Beautiful and comfortable room

After seeing how plain the outside of the hotel looked (the landscaping was not good) we were pleasantly surprised when we entered our room. It was beautiful and updated. We loved having a sofa, too. Our only complaint was the bright light outside our window. There wasn’t a black out curtain, only a shade so our room was pretty light all night.

Great place for you and your furry companions!

Clean, newly updated, and comfortable. Each room has its own entrance door from outside. The fenced doggy area was very nice to have and it had green turf, so clean up was very easy. Only things that we'd change, is putting microwaves in each room and having ice machines closer.
