The Room, a one bedroom apartment, a time share vibe was spotless, well appointed, good quality furnishings. a trek to the 3rd floor but worth it! the hot tub was great after a long day in the car, it was covered from the inherent rain and was warm and bubbly.

This place was a full sized townhouse for the price of a regular hotel room. Beautiful area and super comfortable and quiet. I’m sure it’s more expensive when it’s not the off season but it was a great deal

Whispering woods is a clean, quiet, peaceful retreat. The kitchens are very well equipped . The beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the sauna and jacuzzi.

Very outdated facility from maybe the 70’s/80’s with much neede upgrades/fixes. The fridge runs noisy around the clock buzzing with noises. There is no service for there Wi-Fi connection, and phone has one bar if lucky. Flatscreen TV didn’t work making humming noises..couldnt connect for streaming, but had a couple local channels Bedroom had no working lights in it. My view was inside the woods not a golf course. Had. A musty/cleaner smell that I smelled like after leaving. You can hear and feel every slammed door or noise from all of your neighbors in the place like an apt. Complex. I was choosing a place for peace, and quiet/relaxing which the surrounding areas of the city does have, but this place unfortunately did not. Wouldn’t stay again.

If you don't need WiFi, this place is fine. Our WiFi didn't work for all five days of our stay. The staff said it was a recurring problem. When asked if they would give us a discount, they said Expedia wouldn't let them. I called Expedia, and when the agent called the property, the property refused. This was very disappointing.

Come for the peacefulness and relaxation

We did not have children with us, but there was a nice children's playground that was being enjoyed. The pool and hot tub area was very nice, as was the gym. We loved the peacefulness, and the trail going down to the river. There was everything we needed in the kitchen for making our meals. It was a very enjoyable stay, and we would definitely choose this place again.

This resort is terrible. They didn’t mention any backup plan for me through email or through Expedia about late checkin and I was almost not able to get my room key. When I arrived at the room, the water from the bathroom and the toilet were super muddy. When we called the emergency contact, the man who responded was very inpatient and he promised a callback but actually no callback. The water condition recovers in the morning but still no employee in the registration explaining this whole bad experience. We were given two breakfast vouchers but there was nowhere to use them. And the room has extremely terrible sound insulation. It sounds like people are dragging luggage right next to my ear when they walk in the hallways.

NO water to shower, drink or do dishes? Never again. They didn't take the iniative to supply water, ENOUGH water. I called the desk and asked and someone brought two tiny bottles of water. After a long day on the road and an early morning coming up. It's 9:30PM and just a trickly now so no shower! Wasn't worth the price.

The property was very clean and had a nice club house with a pool. Our room was huge. Had 2 bedrooms with beds, one upstairs and one downstairs, plus a hide-a-bed downstairs and 2 chairs that convert in to beds in the loft upstairs. It had 2 full baths and a kitchen with everything you need in it except food. The property staff was extremely friendly too.
