Tuck into the region’s delectable produce at Mudgee Farmers Market and drop into the local cellar doors to pick up a bottle before coming home to cook up a feast in the gourmet kitchen and finishing up the night with a glass of wine in front of the fireplace.
Upon arrival, you’ll be instantly captivated by the cottage’s charm. The front porch provides a peaceful spot to sip your morning coffee, while inside gorgeous timber floors and ornate period details create a calm and inviting atmosphere. The living room fronts a central TV and fireplace, with a lounge and armchairs to cosy up on. A fully-equipped kitchen seamlessly blends country and contemporary, providing ample space to prepare meals at home. There’s a large dining table inside along with seating under the cabana if you’d prefer to dine outside. Take a dip in the pool or simply relax in the shade.

Three sumptuous bedrooms all come with central air-conditioning and heating to keep things comfortable. The primary bedroom is set with a queen-sized bed, reading chair and ceiling fan, while the second bedroom has a king-sized bed, which can be split into two single beds upon request. The third bedroom offers a queen-sized bed, and benefits from direct access to the main bathroom. A second bathroom features in-unit laundry for your convenience. Parking is provided on the driveway.

Nestled just under four hours’ drive west of Sydney, the town of Mudgee is renowned for its wineries and flourishing food scene. Its winemaking dates to the 19th century, with notable cellar doors including Lowe Wines, Robert Stein Vineyard and Logan Wines. Meander the colonial streetscapes filled with produce stores, cafes and boutiques, and shop for local produce at the Mudgee Fine Foods Farmers’ Markets, held in the picturesque grounds of Robertson Park. While visiting the region, you can explore World Heritage-listed Wollemi National Park, home to scenic walking trails, canoeing and kayaking tours.
