Very disappointed

When we arrived the lobby it smelled like cigarette smoke. When we walked in our room the appliances and amenities were all attached bt extension cords to the outlets3 way additional plugsoverloading the outlets. Rooms were very small no room to spread out. The beds were very hard and not comfortable at all. We booked the room for two nights. We had planned on staying the second night, due to the lack of breakfast and the poor sleeping arrangements we endured a 4 hour drive in the middle of the night to sleep in our own comfort than Stay another night in the hotel.

The young lady that checked us in was very polite friendly and helpful. Definitely deserves recognition. We had cancelled one of the rooms we booked but it still showed up as booked so she gave me instructions on who to contact and that I should get a full refund. Within 30 minutes as we were heading out she reached out and said “we got the email of your cancellation and you should be good to go” I was very grateful for getting me full refund.

My door didnt shut correctly, had to make sure it was closed by pulling it shut really hard. Stench of smoke in the hall. Sheets were clean. Did get accommodations i requested.

The hotel staff were very friendly and polite. They didn’t have an elevator for people in wheelchairs which I thought was odd. I also didn’t like that the bottom sheet on the mattress was a flat sheet and not a fitted sheet. That bothered me because I wouldn’t want to be on the mattress itself for sanitary reasons. I’ve never been at a hotel before that they had flat sheets over the mattress and to me that’s odd and unsanitary conditions especially for COVID reasons, bodily fluids from other people and also bed bugs.

Great place for the price

For a 60.00 per night hotel you’re not going to get better than this. My only issue, the air/heat unit is LOUD and it goes off and on ALL NIGHT LONG. I did turn it off and staff gave me an extra blanket but the room never really got cold even with the unit completely off. (I didn’t know this unit was really optional to use the first 2 nights) but it’s great for the price -will stay again- only downside the neighbors were so loud and annoying - walls are thin if the neighbors are being loud and inconsiderate- but it’s not enough to make me not go back- would recommend to anyone
