Munich at Christmas

Pros: Great Staff
Cons: Perhaps a little bigger rooms for a longer stay
Munich is very busy at Christmastime and it was difficult to find a reasonable hotel close to the centre, so after searching we found The Leonardo Boutique Hotel thru ebookers. It is situated about 10-15mins easy walk from the centre of Munich so it was suitable for our needs. The receptionists and staff were faultless and spoke probably better english than us. We had arrived early from the UK, but the staff were really happy to accomodate an early check in. The rooms were not huge!, but for the two of us it was perfect, twin full sized beds, clean and the room was well organised. There are many good restaurants within a short distance, there's even an Thai below the hotel, but best of all there is a beautiful fresh bakery accross the road.

Christmas markets fun

The staff were very friendly but the linen was stained. We were moved but to a tiny room. The following morning they moved us again to a better room.

Excellent location for the price

This very good value hotel is a simple 10 minute walk from the very centre of Munich and the area around the English Garden, and about 15 minutes walk from Marienplatz. It is well served by all public transport systems. Generous breakfast buffet. Bright at night safe area.

ÖV zu Fuss super ereichbar. Hotel zentrum nah gelegen. Marienplatz in 20min. erreichbar zu Fuss. Hotel hatte alles was wir benötigten. Bad war etwas klein aber durchaus machbar. Preis Leistung war ok.

Das Hotel ist sehr nahe am Marienplatz und am englischen Garten, also sehr zentral gelegen. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist super.
