​​​​​​​One Ocean Place is located 1.2 miles north of the Garden City Pier is Horry County. This twelve-story oceanfront complex offers the ultimate experience in oceanfront living! Feel the ocean breeze, listen to the waves crashing along the shore, and watch a sunrise from your spacious oceanfront balcony. Take the elevator down to the ground level and it's only a short walk before you feel the sand beneath your feet. One Ocean Place offers a resort like feel with a north and south tower, each having their own elevators, outdoor oceanside pools, sundecks, and outdoor hot tubs. Parking is secured with security gates. Covered parking has clearance ranging from 6' to 7'3”. Two parking permits are issued per unit. Motorcycles are allowed. Sorry, recreational vehicles, trailers, golf carts, and pets are not permitted. LIMITED PARKING FOR OVERSIZED VEHICLES.

Perfect for our family. Condo was clean and as advertised. The location was greqr for a family with little ones as it’s on the beach so it allowed us to go back and forth as needed.

Mix Emotions - some good some bad

One Ocean Place- GREAT place to stay & have done so several times. This unit had received comments about needing tender loving care. No true statement. Nice size/space but furnace filter packed with dirt/grime, ceiling fan unusable due to caked dirt on blades, A/C stopped because water drain clogged and had to call maintenance, the rugs in bedrooms were stained and GROSS. Since COVID you would think this would not be ignored. Sliders are difficult to open/close and much more. Having to pick up/drop off keys at office is so old school. Push-button entries are the way to go. Will stay again at this high rise but will need to pass on unit 505 due to these issues. It has the potential of being so great .

Some updating needs to be done

The condo we were in was in a good area and in decent shape but a few items need to be fixed or updated like the sliding doors to the balcony and the carpet desperately needs to be pulled up and replaced, the TV's didn't work properly. Overall it was a decent place the beach was nice.

Property 505 due for update

original tile showers were needing a good bleach. Mildew in grout as normal. I bleached them my second day and they cleaned up pretty easy. Carpets in this unit are past due for a cleaning. Laminate flooring in the living area is a much better flooring. However, 30 minutes in bare feet and and my feet were black on bottom. I cleaned the hard surface flooring in hallway, kitchen and living area and wore socks rest of the week. Balcony seems to be recently recoated on the floor surface and is very nice. Balconies of One Ocean Place are outstanding and a big reason I prefer this property.

Very nice location

The condo was very clean but needs some updating. For example door handle to the balcony was broken and the “1” on the microwave doesn’t work. The biggest complaint about the location was one of the two elevators was out of service and especially with social distancing this was a huge pain. We didn’t go on vacation to walk 5 flights of steps constantly. Overall was a great trip and we would return.
