Check-in staff was less than apologetic when she kept trying to make us pay for a prepaid room Hot tub was barely warm and pool room was almost cold Carpeting in room needs cleaning, specifically more regular vacuuming around edges. We needed to move table and chairs to accommodate our family and there was quite a bit of debris against the wall

Check in agent tried to get us 2 adjoining rooms. After getting us 2 courtyard view rooms ( actually it was a view of a cement wall ) She realized one of the rooms was OUT OF ORDER !! So instead , I took a handicap room which was next door. That would have been ok had we had a hallway to walk through. However, our rooms had no hallway. We entered our rooms from outside !! As for the OUT OF ORDER ROOM…. My daughter and her husband heard loud voices from that room all night !!!! We will look at other options for our next stay in Grand Haven. It I wanted an outdoor entrance, I would have stayed at MOTEL 6

Staff was pleasant as far as the room… when I booked I had some special requirements that were not completed one request was for a complete new clean bedding set sheets blankets etc that was not available for 2 hours after my arrival! So that prolonged my comfort the room was very dusty which triggered my allergies to the extreme so not only was I not comfortable I was in agony itchy watery eyes sneezing etc. the jacuzzi constantly drained even when I had it plugged I was not offered anything to compensate for my unconvince! This hotel used to be the only one I would visit but will possibly be exploring other options after this stay!
