The open floorplan tastefully combines the light-filled living room, dining room, and kitchen into a spacious and elegant room comfortable for up to six guests. Designed for entertaining, the villa's guests can comfortably enjoy their time together in this fabulous space. There is easy access to the terrace and pool - which are the piece de resistance of this villa! While the indoors are phenomenal, the outdoor areas are the villa's crown jewels! (more on that below)
The uber-modern, sophisticated kitchen makes cooking a breeze! It is sleek, well-stocked for cooking with full-sized, modern appliances. Everything you need for meal preparation is contained in the kitchen, including pots, pans, cutlery, dishes, dishwasher, refrigerator, oven, and stovetop.
Guests can retreat each evening to their private and luxurious sanctuary for a good night's sleep. Three well-appointed bedrooms with ensuite bathrooms accommodate two guests per bedroom. Two of the rooms contain a queen-sized bed, while the third bedroom includes two single/twin beds for flexible accommodations. You'll appreciate the sophisticated design, ample space, televisions, and unique ensuite bathrooms. We provide high-quality linens and towels for all guests.
The villa's sophisticated interiors give way to its jaw-dropping gorgeous outdoor terraces and private pool with fabulous ocean views! The easy indoor/outdoor access creates a luxurious paradise for the villa's guests. The pool includes a tanning shelf for hot days where you can sit and enjoy sunbathing in just several inches of water! The pool deck offers sun loungers and covered dining area. You can choose between the pool's sparkling waters and the nearby turquoise ocean!

Once you leave Mykonos Town and airport area (11 km. from Kalafatis), much of life on the island remains unchanged. Rolling hills, rugged cliffs, scenic landscapes, and beautiful beaches punctuate the land. Iconic whitewashed stone dwellings still dot the landscape today, an homage to the island's ancient roots and culture.
The sparkling waters of Kalafatis Bay are about five minutes from Villa Ortus. There are mini-markets, restaurants, and taverns specializing in local seafood dishes minutes from the villa.
Kalafatis Bay is the largest on the island and the only beach to receive "Blue Flag" status in recent years. This is an ideal area to get away from the tourist crowds more common in the vicinity of Mykonos Town. The Kalafatis area, while popular, is far less crowded.
Kalafatis Beach has two areas: one is less organized without any services, while the other one offers sun loungers and umbrellas for rent. Closeby are the equally lovely beaches of Kalo Livadi and Lia.
Kalafatis can be reached by public bus from Chora's Old Port bus station in the town of Mykonos. This area can also be reached by car or motorbike. (Note that there is no water taxi service to Kalafatis.)
