Welcome to your home away from home, at the beach! Our two bedroom, two bath townhome cottage is a short 1.5 block walk from the beach, Ocean Boulevard, and a short drive from all that Myrtle Beach has to offer!

The Market Common is a 5 minute drive and home to upscale dining, a nice park with walking paths, and a movie theater.

Broadway at the beach is a 10 minute drive and has a multitude of restaurants, family fun activities, and night life venues.

Murrells Inlet is a 15 minute drive and is home to the “Seafood Capital of South Carolina” along with world class fishing charters.

The host was great with communication and response time. The property is not on the water and cannot be seen from the house. The home was as described but definitely needs some TLC. One bathroom needed tinkering every time to get it to flush, and the downstairs bathroom door was pretty dirty. As far as amenities, soap and shampoo was provided, but not much else and no coffee or laundry detergent. Otherwise, the home was comfortable and the location is very convenient to the heart of restaurants and activities.

Snorkel Way Cottages

Check in was a breeze, property manager made sure we had our cottage & pool access codes a week before arrival. If I had to say anything somewhat negative it's that the pool is kind of small for the amount of cottages that share the pool. But it was clean,the cottage was clean, literally just 2 blocks 4 minute walk to the beach. I would recommend these to anyone,and if we ever have a want to go to Myrtle Beach again,my family would most certainly stay again.

Overall the stay was pretty cool in a great location close to a few stores and restaurants and miniature golfing and about 2-3 blocks from the beach. On the flip side once I checked in and did a walk through we discovered windows didn’t lock and the valve on one of the toilets was off which the owner immediately came over and handled. Pulled back the covers and discovered spiders. My suggestion is next time the property is being rented is for the owner to do a walkthrough. Also the owner should consider a little remodeling.

The house was great! Nice and clean. Most of the area around was fine but one way going to the beach didn't seem safe. We chose to go in the other direction and stay as far away as we could from that block.

Short walk to the beach

When I'm looking for a place to stay I'm looking at location and cost. This place fit the bill - a short walk to the beach and a good price! My children (8 and 12) had no complaints about their space in the house and no complaints about the walk to the beach...so I'm happy! They really enjoyed the pool as well. Our stay in late August was not crowded at all.

Great time in Myrtle Beach

The property was clean and very comfortable. Very nice beds. Had pretty much all we needed. Access to the beach was very easy. Literally a 5 minute walk. It also has a Walmart right around the corner and plenty of things to do within walking distance. The host was super responsive to anything we needed and had lots of great recommendations.

Wonderful Getaway

This is a beautiful cottage! Easy walk to the beach with a great local community pool. We also were able to walk to Walmart neighborhood market and a couple of Myrtle Beach shops. I highly recommend this cottage.

Good stay except

Everything was dine except there was some ild food in the garbage disposal, which had a horrible smell. The switch for the garage disposal did not work. We were unable to dit in the living room area the entire time because the smell was horrible. I left a message_email for the property manager but did not get a response.

Probably my failure.

I have never booked anything through Vrbo. The reservation process was fairly simple. I didn't download an app. I didn't know I needed to. When I arrived at the property getting in was difficult, primarily due to my experiences with making reservations in the past. Everything, including the entrance locks look the same but the access each time has been different. Also, it would be helpful to have detailed information in the facility especially for Wifi. I used my phone for a hotspot and that was okay. But there was no information in the facility for the password. Since my stay was work and recreation this aspect was inconvenient. And, since I didn't know about the need for the app for better communication my contact with the host was limited to call through the Vrbo customer service line. So, after doing this to gain access i just didn't bother. Remember, that all people who go online to book things are not tech savvy. Some may be like me technically challenged. The property was great! And, your representation of the property was "spot on"! This may have been the easiest part of the process!
