WORST stay of all time!! I honestly don’t understand how this place is still running. To begin with, the pictures are completely different from what it actually looks like. From the entrance to the room, I was completely disappointed. When I got into the room assigned for my stay, I couldn’t believe my own eyes. MOLD everywhere. A HORRIBLE smell. The place was completely DIRTY. I was disgusted and did not want to stay there. I tried everything to book a different place, but due to their policies, the second night would not be refunded. I was given a second key to a different room, which was way cleaner than the first one, but it still smelled. There were visible signs of water damage, and the microwave seemed like it was going to catch on fire every time we tried to heat something. At bedtime, I was shivering from the cold, and there was NO BLANKET on the bed, just sheets. The bed was completely uncomfortable, and during the two days I was forced to stay (or lose my money), I slept terribly. Downstairs, the pool area smelled terrible as well. There was a strong smell of pee, and one of the pools wasn’t working. The ONLY good thing about this place is how close it is to the beach.

First time visiting Myrtle Beach a solo trip for my birthday weekend I enjoyed every bit of it from Broadway on the beach on to the actual beach. The beautiful staff at the Palette resort was very helpful and I would definitely plan another stay there. Thank you South Carolina for a great time ❤️

Housekeeping doesn’t come in to clean your room even after staying for 4 days no one came to bring us new towels, clean sheets or blankets. Room smells like mildew nothing ever drys room also feels wet and moist. Sheets are very thin so bring your own!

This place is an absolute disgrace!

This is the dirtiest place i have ever stayed in. The pictures on the internet are not what you get. The actual location is a disgrace! Half the lights didnt work, the floor was dirty to the point where my feer were black after taking my shoes off. Hotels.com, you ripped me off big time and I will never reserve with you again.

The room was very outdated and overall look run down. The manager and the front desk employees was not professional at all. The manager was arguing with customers in front of other people. There were urine stains on the pull out bed. The walls were scuffed, the front door wouldn't open all the way and the entire building needed a paint job inside and out. To top everything off the manager was very difficult to talk to.

I’m sorry, but my family and I have been going to Myrtle beach every year for at least 8 years. Hotel wise this was my absolute worst experience. The place states it gives you dishes for your kitchenette. But you literally have to go down to the desk and are very very limited on what they give you?! We ended up just buying what we needed at a nearby store. Let’s not forget about when we first checked in our room wasn’t even cleaned? It had ZERO towels, soap etc. there was sand in the floor (kinda to be expected in sorts with the beach) however there was also hair balls by the dining table. Not to mention when we used the stove only one burner of the four worked? They woke us up early one morning having us switch rooms due to the floor flooding. When switching rooms, they first gave us a key card to a room that literally had people sleeping inside of it?!! They fixed that giving us a new key card and room. Upon the new room it was actually very clean. Towels and all. The room over all was better the stove worked and everything. (Down fall the tv was way smaller.) OH and don’t let me forget about the pools smelling like straight up pee and was disgusting the entire week we stayed. The only “pool” clean was the small lazy river.. I can promise you it isn’t worth your money or time not even if you needed a cheap place like us this year. Look elsewhere.

Couldn't check in to hotel until 8:45 at night due to what they said was a water line break or something. No discpunt offered and in fact was denied when requested. Room was suuuuuper dirty. Hair in bathtub, handprints on mirrors, residue on muiltple surfaces. Hotel hallways and elevators smelled like portapotties, and the door to the room barely opened (it scraped against the floor).
