Overall the place is not terrible for the price and location. It is very convenient as a lot of food places/activities are within walking distance. Nice pool area and easy access to the beach. Parking is limited on site and you may have to walk across the street to park offsite. There is no housekeeping so certain things you had to get from the front desk. Looks like rooms are only cleaned when you check out. We did encounter a few roaches and also egg sacs in the room. The gentleman we spoke to at the front desk was very nice and apologized for the issues that we were experiencing. He did offer to see if another room was available. I did not have any issues with the staff during our visit. We stayed at this hotel in the past when it was operating under the name Three palms. During that time we did not experience any issues. I do believe that there is a bug problem that needs to be addressed ASAP or otherwise the issue will get worse. Unfortunately I will not be staying at this location in the future.

Don’t Do It.

The pools were green, with one having “caution” tape around it. The decor was trashed, very old outdated furniture. The elevator button from the handicap parking and access to and from the pool/ beach area was broken with wires hanging out of it. No towels were in bathroom.

For the most part I did enjoy my stay here. This property is a little rough around the edges though. Overall, I was comfortable staying here and it was far from a bad experience. The biggest flaw I must say is how dingy certain aspects of the hotel and my room were. The stove, parts of the bathroom, and small things either were rusty or just old and worn out. There was also a noticeable dirtyness all throughout the room and exterior of the room (the door). The flooring inside of the elevator was broken. The lamps in the room were also dirty and slightly falling apart. None of these things made my stay any less comfortable I just believe this property is in desperate need of a remodeling.

Property is old and unkept. Staff is inattentive and seems like they have no clue of their policies or how to run the place properly. We did not even make it through check in and decided to cancel our stay and go elsewhere for our week stay.

Pros: It was a good stay. Nice view oceanfront. A lot of families there. Pool and lazy river were clean and blue. Air conditioner worked excellent. Bed was good. Big room. (King Suite) You can tell they are in the process of updating it. Cons: Our refrigerator smelled. No forks, spoons, plates, bowls…anything in the rooms. You have to take your towels and wash rags to the front desk and ask for new ones and ask for kitchen supplies if they are available. No beach towels in room. You also have to ask front desk for them. No floats for the lazy river. Parking lot is very small no parking to check in. No parking on property. You park across the street. Only two luggage racks for whole hotel. They must have a fear of people jumping from decks bc they added a layer and you can’t look over balcony as well.However, It did the job for two adults. We enjoyed our time. Wouldn’t be a top choice to return too, but would at times.

I liked how they made sure we were happy with our room. We were moved twice over where i booked online and didnt get what i booked. They did fix it and no extra charge. I was having some issues with my crd as well and they fixed that for me as well. They were very helpful and kind. I know i was a little hard to handle over me getting aggravated over the room situation but in my defense i had just drove 8 hrs to get there with 2 small kids and i was wore out and just ready to sleep. But this place is a great place to stay. And everyone that works there are very helpful and sweet.

It was a place to sleep but we wouldn’t go again. It was dirty, the sheets had hair, floor was sandy, the bathtub was not cleaned. We didn’t have enough towels and washcloths and had to hunt down housekeeping to get a towel for each person. The balcony faced a building, with 1 chair but you couldn’t open the door to get out anyway!! The check in was crowded with slow service. The complaints from customers were ridiculous, and hearing them all I wanted to cancel and run, but knew we would lose our payment. The parking for loading and unloading was a small driveway and people were blocking each other in, which meant you had to wait for them to move their cars. We did not use the pool but the pool looked clean, and I watched the crew cleaning. There was a nice view of the beach if you went to the back of the building to a porch with chairs. The lines at the desk were a constant and to keep standing in line for each complaint wasn’t worth the time I was wasting enjoying Myrtle beach. I will not go back and I wouldn’t recommend this place.

I think they may have been short staffed. Front desk was abandoned for 20 minutes after i arrived and there was lobby full of guests waiting so waited over an hour to checkin. Several rooms weren't ready yet past the 4pm checkin. We got on floor smelling fabulosa from cleaning crew but when we walked in room was hit in face with mildew. I reported to manager who said he would check personally but he never did. I asked cleaning staff on our floor if they had a lysol spray but no only fragrance.. so just opened doors and aired out and dealt with.
