This is the worst place I’ve stayed at in Myrtle beach so far. The rooms were completely dirty and nothing like what was advertised. The safe in our room was broken off the wall and hurt my boyfriend. The light in the bathroom was broken the pull out mattress was dirty and the pools were gross. I would not recommend staying here. Even after informing them that I was not in the room I booked they made no effort to amend their mistake. Please pick another place to stay. Especially if you have kids.

First we suppose to check in at 4 in Friday they give us are room till 5 pm and they don’t give us the room what we paid for it second the sofa bed ha a mold all over we ask for the money back they only offer us $75 they never have a manager on duty to speak with us definitely I don’t recommend this place.is a nightmare.

We traveled for our honeymoon and was given a room in a motel down the street from the actual hotel advertised on line. We were given a room in the Jamaica building which was not at all advertised. The room was outdated and clearly at some point bought by Caribbean Resorts. This would not be an issue if it was known prior to booking. Our "ocean view" room was on the side of the building and was the view of the parking lot and another building with the beach in the corner. When we requested to be moved we were told they had no more room in the main building and that we had to wait until the next day which was unacceptable. When we requested a refund we were then told that we would have to wait until the next day for the manager to come in and approve the refund. It was only when we called the corporate phone number that we were able to get a refund. Our experience was terrible here and a waist of time.

The elevators and the floors in hallways were always wet but that's because every one coming and going from the beach and pool. We were really close to EVERTHING! never had to drive farther than 10 minutes to get to the main attractions. The pool was warm and wonderful view. We stayed in the Jamaican building. The water pressure in the shower sucked but over all it was a really nice stay.

At initial check-in I was very pleased. Very clean, updated and modern lobby. Once we were assigned our room we was directed 2 buildings down to the acquired Jamaican Motel building. They just call it the Jamaican building but it’s the former Jamaican Motor Motel building and no upgrades were done to the exterior. Carpeted outdoor hallways with all the former motel feels. The door to our unit we had to use bodily force to open and close the door each time. Once we entered we saw why, the hinge was scraping the ceiling when opening and closing. Our room had been renovated but not fully, just enough for you to say….well…it’s not horrible. Amazing oceanfront view. We did have our own regular pool at our building that was less crowded than the Main building we also had access too. I was appreciative of housekeeping making daily rounds to bring clean towels and take the trash out. Overall, if you’re staying here confirm what building you are in, the Jamaican is not worth your money. If the Main building, I believe it’s the Dominican, that registration is in, if they are like the lobby they should be 1000% better than the Jamaican. Stay away from the Jamaican Motel section of the Caribbean Resort.

Not as advertised, they photographed the newer King room in tower A, you get run down room in tower c. Broken entrance door lock( known issue/not repaired) unfinished tile, phone broken, missing porcelain finish in toilet, no stopper in sink, wall shaker a/c units, (everything feels wet from a/c inability to dehumidify ) I rated 2 and struggled with that decision.
