Awesome place to stay for a first visit to Myrtle Beach. The property is family owned - so definitely a lot of personal touches- appreciated the dining and activity suggestions. We had an early arrival flight and a late departure flight so they were able to hold our luggage each time and got us into our room as soon as possible. Perfect location at the end of the boardwalk so immediate area was quiet but an easy walk to all attractions. We will definitely stay there again.

Upon arrival we noticed how well keep the Darlington Inn was. Place is family owned and operated which makes it feel more like home. When greeted by the staff was friendly, kind, accommodating there for what ever you may need all the way down to beach chairs and beach towels. Location was perfect with number of 2-3 bedroom cottages along with the Inn being right on Ocean Blvd and from the balcony you can see the ocean. My family really did enjoy the stay and will make this our stay place every time we visit. Just want to thank the staff who worked from open to close making sure the pool area stayed washed down and the pool clean. Location is literally 5 min walking distance from the Family Kingdom amusement park. Please if you choose to visit Myrtle Beach check this location out. You will not be disappointed at all. My room came with all the amenities you may need from full size fridge, stove, dishes to cook with and a microwave. Air conditioner stayed cool though it was in the high upper 100 degrees the room was fresh, cool and comfortable. We took our E bikes and was able to keep them chained up outside and no one bothered the and by the way we were there for 4 nights. Pulled in Thur- Monday. Please check them out a great place.

This property is small and nice. The staff were great. There is no elevator but they aren’t lying about great views on the top floor. The pool is on the smaller side but you have the beach across the street. Worst thing was the beds anre pretty soft so they aren’t the best if you’ve broken your pelvis previously and need a firm bed. Other than that, great place to stay for our family with a 6 year old.

Great staff at this location, was very impressed with the hospitalities offered by staff here. I believe its a family owned establishment which explains the hospitality. I do wish the location offered personal Laundry Equipment as an added amenity to make the stay better. The location is acceptable and appropriately priced considering multiple abandoned hotels and buildings just North of the location. It can get noisy on Ocean Blvd just out front of the location in the Dusk hours with the constant 'cruising' by people driving by in their loud cars... More of a local ordnance issue that Mytrle Beach should do better about enforcing. Would and will absolutely stay at this location in the future given the negative issues, none of which seem to be the properties fault rather the municipalities fault. Some first world requests like a washing machine and dryer to use would be icing to the cake on our stay but did not effect a negative view on our stay, it would just be an added bonus. RECOMMEND Booking DIRECTLY with property for best pricing. As what I assume to be a family owned location, I would recommend supporting them by booking directly so they can offer best price and discounts not available through third party platforms. Like I said, I will be staying here again in the future. It was overall great.

Our family pulled up to the property and watched a drug deal. The crowd circling the facility was so scary that we locked the doors and left without checking into a room. We were not provided any refund. The pictures do not match the facility at all. Our kids were heart broken! :(

Great property. I will admit that first look can be a little deceiving but once we were in the office and then our room we were very pleased with our choice in accomodations. We loved that it was small and not crowded. Great view of the ocean and easy access to the amusement park and also to the boardwalk and main drag. We will definitely be back again.
