The worst place I’ve ever stayed

Run far away from this “resort” I booked through hotels.com and the pictures looked NOTHING like this “resort” when we arrived on Thursday the first red flag was the man made sign they have by the street. When I walked in to see if we could check in an hour early I immediately knew I made a mistake booking this hotel. The pictures they have are very misleading. When I walked in the hotel it was dirty, outdated and had a smell. We had to come back at 4 to check in because they said the rooms were not clean yet. I get us checked in and we proceed to the room. When we walk in my heart drops because I’m so disappointed by what I saw vs what’s in their website. The room had NOT been cleaned so we had to sit on the balcony for 2 hours while they cleaned the room. They finally finish “cleaning” and we go into the room. The bed has stains on the side, the headboard was filthy, mold in the bathroom, the A/C is barely hanging on, the rooms need to be upgraded severely. If I wasn’t going to be charged a fee we would have left immediately!! The pool area needs to be upgraded as well. The only good thing I can say about this “resort” is the location. It’s in the middle of everything you can walk to most places but other than that this by far is the WORST place I’ve ever stayed and I will NEVER stay here again!! I wish I could add pics of what the room actually looked like. They did take $50 off due to the room NOT being cleaned but that’s it. Don’t be fooled by the pictures like I was.

Wasted money!!

This so called resort is awful! I’ve never stayed at a resort like this! The pictures are very misleading room was nasty and needed a good scrubbing,no way to cook anything on the very nasty stove,the bathroom door would not open without dragging the floor, no shower soap or shampoo or conditioner,sink needed cleaning and the shower curtain would not stay closed! Only one towel and wash cloth. The bed was dirty with a look liked blood stain in it and the furniture was all beat up! No lighting and the walls were dirty with whatever all over them and the ceiling. The sink had never been cleaned mold all around the rim and in the drain. Little balls for pillows. The outside was nasty with dirty pools and no tubes for lazy river, the only elevator was also used for the hauling of trash leaking everywhere and not being cleaned up afterwards! Trash old dirty beds and furniture in the underground parking! I took pictures and it’s a hot mess!! I will never be back here again!! I need a refund I we didn’t even get into any of the pools dirty and the walkway to the beach had busted boards with a big hole in it, carpet squares thrown on the sand in front of the steps going down to beach. The beach area was full of debris from not being cleans up! Terrible!! Bad homemade sign in the front entrance also! Getto!!

The room and property is dirty EVERYWHERE! The staff is not knowledgeable and rude! A staff person, charged myself and several other guests money on our cards that they didn’t have an explanation for. When we spoke to the manager she stated she doesn’t want anything to do with it and she will have the owner call us. By 6 PM.. we had no call. Talked with someone else and the owner was out of the country. We ended up getting a refund that would take 3-5 days after the vacation was over. Then I get home and have another charge on my card! I called and the staff said she didn’t know why and I should call my bank and dispute it. So I get home from vacation and have to wait for hundreds of dollars to be refunded with no explanation. I spent my whole vacation arguing and asking for my money back!

The first impression was not good. Dark and dingy lobby area, strong smell of Pine-Sol, one broken elevator and a terrifying ground/garage level. However, my room was fine, the bed was comfortable, their loction is good - right on the beach and walkable to some dining and entertainment.

Do not stay here. From the lobby to hallway to room, dirty and smelly. You have to ask for dishes… plastic wear is all they have, no forks, no soap to wash dishes and they were dirty. Stove didn’t work. Toaster was missing the bottom. Sink was badly caulked. The beach shower for sand didn’t work. They have an area for breakfast or bar but nothing is there or stocked. They keep the cleaning buggies there instead. Customer service was not informative. Beach access was the only positive.

Do not Book this stay!!!

The experience was horrible. I already sent a review for my check in. I did not stay at this hotel. I requested a refund. It was dirty, and check in was at 4 pm, but did not get a room until 11:30 pm. The rooms look nothing like the pictures that they are advertising. The rooms were more of a motel or inn vibe, not a resort of any kind. It was a terrible experience. They should be ashamed of themselves. They are scamming people!
