Polynesian Beach & Golf Resort was untruthful in their advertisement of their property. The room had so much moisture that the ceiling pant was full of water and falling down, the floor was gritty, the curtains were dirty, and the sliding door to the patio was hard to open. The bed had plastic over the mattress that you could feel. The air conditioner unit was yellow in color, and the patio furniture was dirty. I need a full refund for my inconvenience

When we arrived the first room had mold on the ceiling and behind the beds on the walls. The sliding door would not open to the balcony and a chair in the room that was just disgusting. They moved us to a 2nd room where the door opened but there was mold on the actual mattress in this room. I decided to cancel my reservation and book with another hotel! These conditions are a real health concern. 10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND staying here! The pools were absolutely disgusting and the overall cleanliness of the entire property. They are also not working with me in a timely manner on getting a refund! They are planning to charge me fees when I didn’t spend more than 5 minutes in either of these rooms!

The staff were nice but the hotel is very run down and grossed us out. I went and bought new blankets but it did little to quell our apprehension. If was rich or had lots of money I would have left immediately. Some things aren’t worth pinching pennies on.

So first the rooms look nothing like the photos. Everything in and outside this hotel is out dated. The beds are not comfortable you need actual keys to get in out your room that all the doors look like all you need is a little shoulder power and your in. The floors and elevators looks like a scene out of a horror movie. Cash deposit you can’t get back if you check out before 8am. Mind you I checked in at 1:39 am, they can take your deposit after hours they just can’t give it back though after hours.

The property is very run down and getto. The chair in our room looked moldy where people have sat and outlets were coming off the wall. The site show a picture of their sign, that says Polynesian Beach and Golf Resort, it was photoshopped. The actual sign says Oceanfront Hotel. It is not a Resort! I was booked for 7 days, but stayed 1 night. The hotel does not use keycards, they use actual metal keys. (Which I dont have an issue with) The first night at 11pm, someone used a key to access my room, twice. The simple chain security would not have stopped them from getting in. I, a mom, was traveling with my daughter. We used a chair to block the door. I do not think it was hotel staff trying to access the room, I think they are repeating keys for different rooms. This is not safe! However, I do not know that for sure since I have yet to hear from a manager, I have called a couple of times. They keep telling me they are putting my not on deck, for the manager and I have to talk to a manager, who is never there or not taking calls. I also did not get a refund for my stay either. Since the manager is avoiding me, I do not expect I will see it The only reason they got 1 star, was I could not post a review without it.

When we arrived at the property the outside looked okay and then we got our room and I almost asked for a refund due to the room not being as advertised. I guess you get what you pay for. It reeked of marijuana smoke all hours of the day and night and just wasn't the best place to stay.

DO NOT USE THIS PLACE

First and foremost, the name of the motel is NOT The Polynesian Golf and Beach Resort it is simply the Polynesian Oceanfront Hotel. I rolled in after a 13 hour drive, confused that i was at the wrong spot only to find out i was. We checked in. "Resort" is a stretch. The lobby was dirty and my "resort view" was actually the road in front of the hotel. Of which the few hours i was there all i heard was engines reving, and people walking by. The elevator did not work well. Bits of concrete were gouged out everywhere. On the surface the room was clean, but definitely not. We wore shoes the whole time. The curtain had bug holes in it, a search to plug my phone in revealed 3 items plugged together with electrical tape and another outlet popped out of the wall. We did not feel safe. The matresses were 2 different sizes and the one i laid on felt like it was from a pull out couch or left over from the 1970's! After an upgrade that resulted in a beachfront view the room had no AC and the balcony door would not close!! Needless to say, i checked out exhausted from no sleep and pissed as the staff insinuated that i did not do my due diligence on the hotel before booking. I have photos to back up all the things i stated however they will not upload.

It is an older motel but was a decent place to be right on the strip and the price wasn’t bad. I didn’t know it was motorcycle week when I came but still wasn’t bad at all. The bathroom sink did back up on me a couple times. But you’re just a few steps from the beach also. Was nice to be able to have my dogs and a room with no carpet so no problems there. If I needed a room again I wouldn’t mind staying there again. My room had a kitchenette in it and it had everything needed in it to cook.
