Not the greatest, but certainly not the worst.

Overall our stay was ok. The things that made me not give full stars: mildew/mold on the ceiling (room 1709), jacuzzi option for the tub didn't work, front desk staff were not the nicest. We asked for a blanket and 2 pillows for the murphy bed and got major attitude and was informed "it will only be ONE blanket, no more than that," when they are usually in the room to begin with. The Pros: the house keepers were all awesome and very friendly. The female security guard was on her game! She was constantly on the move and confirming that it was only the members of the hotel that were at the pool/hot tub/lazy river. The distance between the hotel and the beach were PERFECT! The price was great, even though we booked 2 days before we went. The beds were overall pretty comfortable. It was clean. Has a full kitchen which saved us a lot of money having teenagers that are always hungry. Some things could have made it better, for sure. But unless we found a better deal for better room somewhere else, we would stay there again.

The room was filthy and moldy needs cleaning and upgrades done stains on furniture. Was told I was getting a king bed when booked and received 2 queen beds. When I ask to be moved nobody would accommodate. Had multiple issues with the keys to the room and parking was far away.

Would definitely stay again!!

This was a last minute family trip to the beach. The price was very affordable. My husband usually cleans our hotel rooms when we get there. But the room was so clean, his cleaning had NO dirt or remnants! Sandy Beach Resort gets 10 stars from us, hands down!
