I used to live in Lufkin and figured the hotel would be pretty good if it's associated with one of Lufkin's best restaurants. I was VERY wrong!!! Here are some pictures to prove it. I have no clue why we were given the handicap room. But it was what it was. We didn't even shower, we just wanted to get out of there!

not a bad place to stay for the money i guess. 1st time staying @ the hotel / motel. weve been staying @ the Hampton Inns for the last 5 years, but we waited to late to book our room & this was one of the only hotel / motels availible. if they didnt advertise falsey i wouldnt mind staying here again. you can hear everyone talking & walking outside the room it says online that they offer free hot breakfast but that clearly was not true or if they do offer the breakfast, it must be after 7am which when i left every morning. overall i would rate the place a 6 out 10.

I must say that Expedia must update the info , I booked with the false advertising you have on the website that breakfast was included but it’s not, the room has some kind of unpleasant odor , an outlet by our bed had wholes so I stuck tissue in it so I wouldn’t feel like there’s a peeping-tom , the microwave needs to be replaced it had rust , so I’m disappointed with Expedia for false advertising I wish you would get me my money back, I’m not using you anytime soon or later

We had. booked for 2 nights, but when we entered the room, we were hit with an unpleasant smell. The fixtures, carpet and furnishings were old. We called the front desk and asked them to cancel the second night, which they kindly said they would and even verified it when checking out. Two weeks later we received our CC statement and found we were charged for both nights. We had gone through a third party to book and they tried to get confirmation of the cancellation so they could facilitate the refund, but the motel refused. Poor, poor quality at the "Quality Inn"

The property appeared to have long term tenants with cat worn curtains, smokers the rooms were nothing like the pictures so I’m not sure why they needed a card for damages.
