Downgraded!

The hotel itself is excellent with a wonderful breakfast. However, on the first night, we were downgraded without our knowledge and placed in a room over the construction area. That was unacceptable. Otherwise, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Excellent stay

A family of 4 with kids 11 and 8, loved the stay at Crowne Plaza. We stayed there for three days facing the ocean and the swimming pool. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, and the people working there were all friendly and courteous. The pool was perfect for my kids to play and there were enough activities for the families to enjoy. We did kayaking which was great and the kids enjoyed playing on the beautiful beach everyday.

We found the staff at Crowne Plaza were exceptional just soo good. We loved our stay. The food options are good, however for a coeliac the range is limited and proceed with some caution, but that can be said for much of Fiji however, what I did eat was delicious! One thing we didn’t love and literally everyone we spoke to said the same - the music coming from the beach club was suuuuper loud, which yes it’s a beach club, but (during our stay) it wasn’t the partying kind of demographic and it was often pretty empty, so it was just kinda weird! - this is literally the only reason for this review! We would have loved to have used the space because it’s beach front and has lovely views and we did try, another couple put it well “read the room!” Otherwise, we loved our stay and would 100% go back!

Uniquely located right next to the beach and a short drive from Nadi Airport. Such a grand lobby entrance, with impeccable views of the beach and one of many pools. Also, loved the buffet breakfast (soooo many choices to accommodate different dietary requirements), not to forget barista coffee😍. The staff - from the porters, front desk team, housekeeping to the wait staff were amazing, tentative and provided that exceptional Fijian hospitality!! Would definitely stay here again!! 🙌

The overall resort was very beautiful and felt 5 star, unfortunately the food at all places was quiet bad. But the recreation staff were absolutely amazing. Great kids club plenty of activities. We arrived quiet late 10pm and didn't receive the cold glass of juice and welcome like we seen other guest get through out the stay which was disappointing but the staff were friendly. Just make sure you check ypur room bill through out your stay we had a lot of charges that were not ours but they fixed it right away.

We spent our last three nights before flying home at the Crowne Plaza. It’s a fabulous hotel and we knew it would not have the nicest surroundings. The hotel is worth every $. No regrets staying here but if you are looking for a beach holiday, this is not the location to go to in Fiji.

Recently there was construction at the property, which caused bit of annoyance and needed to change the room. Otherwise overall great place, not far from airport, if you would like to go by yourself can take taxi for 20 dollars. Polite staff and always happy to help

We stayed at the Crown Plaza Fiji for 8 nights to celebrate our daughter's 16th birthday. Some of what we liked include: The buffet breakfast which was great with many options. Our room was spacious and very clean. The staff was attentive and friendly and Dollyn was almost like family. JAZZ night is a must if you're at the resort on a Thursday. We went and it was surprisingly good. Pool aerobics was fun! I looked forward to that at 11.30 am every day. The hotel is a 15 minutes drive from the Marina which has many good restaurants and less than 30 minutes from the airport. What we wish could be better. We wish there were more activities for teens as our daughter was bored. Also consider introducing Happy hour. The cocktails are quite pricey so happy hour would be welcomed by the grown-ups. Overall we had a good stay and would visit the Crown Plaza Fiji resorts again.
