The staff helped us during every step of our stay. Amazing outdoor onsen. Particularly loved the breakfast which offers Japanese cuisine as well as the more typical continental options. Very spacious rooms. Also worth mentioning the hotel is right outside Nagano station as well as several great restaurants, which we found quite practical.

Room is clean, the double room is not big but acceptable, location is great as its just across the JR station. Dormy Inn is always one of our go to hotel around Japan, we love their breakfast and not forgetting their complimentary onsens, supper, ice-cream, etc.

Great location from Nagano Station and right in the heart of Nagano. The baths/sauna were lovely and plenty on offer like free washing machines, free snacks for after saunas etc. Beds were a bit uncomfortable but for the price you cant complain. Staff were lovely.

The hot spa for women only and men only was the highlight of the day. Reception staff were wonderful and the room was very clean. Location very close to train station a plus. Very easy to find bus to visit snow monkeys.

Frustrating as booked a non cancellable room and asked to move from sat/sun to sun/mon if possible. Understand it was my fault for not paying for a refundable room but they ignored hotels.com for a week before I gave up. Would prefer a negative response to nothing! Staff on reception are very helpful though once we arrived…. Onsen lovely and noodles at 9.30 welcome after a long day!

We liked it. We stayed in another hotel from this chain, in Kyoto. This hotel had more space. I would advise getting the twin bed room instead of the master one. This way, for the first time in Japan, we had a bit room to breathe and to open our big checkin luggages (the hard shell ones oprn like a book and take out all the space). So space wise very good. Very nice staff too. Hotel is very close to the train station which is nice as well.
