This classic, 4-bedroom vacation home at milepost 17.5 in South Nags Head is just waiting for you and your family. With a shared walkway, the beaches of South Nags Head are only 200 feet away! Just a short car ride to shopping, water sports, Jennette’s Pier, and historic attractions. With water to the east and west enjoy the unique experience of Carolina sunrises and sunsets from Port O’Call III’s sundeck.

After a fun day at the beach or a busy day out seeing the sights, come home and relax with a dip in your own private hot tub! At night grab the kids and enjoy the family amenities like the game room equipped with a Foosball table or sit back and enjoy a selection from the video library.

For larger groups that want to vacation together, but have the privacy of their own separate home at night, consider Port O’Call III’s sister homes Port O’Call I and II all located in a row on the same street with their own access to the beach.

Port O'Call III is pet-friendly (one dog max). There is an additional charge of $195+ taxes for guests bringing pets, which will be added and collected after booking.

Layout:

Ground Level: Laundry room with washer and dryer, enclosed outdoor shower, hot tub.

Mid Level: Recreation room/den with an arcade game, TV and sleeper sofa. Queen bedroom with an attached private half bath, king bedroom, bedroom with a bunk bed and a twin bed, full hall bath.

Top Level: Living area, kitchen, and dining area. King bedroom, full bath.

Beach renourishment projects are scheduled to take place in Dare County in late spring through summer of 2026. Specifically, projects are planned to take place along the oceanfront in Nags Head, Buxton and Avon. More details will be provided as updates and plans are confirmed. Great house and quiet beach area. Access is up a staircase and down the dune to the beach-climbing the dune to go back is a little challenging…don’t rent a cart for beach gear. Check the wind before renting beach umbrellas. That said, the link and the equipment rental process was great. House was comfy and well appointed-master king was comfortable.

Mostly relaxing vacation

Was surprised by the updated kitchen, which is very nice. Disappointed that the hot tube was broke and could not be used, that was one of the reasons we selected this house. The air conditioner works great. Area was nice and quiet and we had great access to the beach.
