Older property but well maintained, clean and well equipped with bathroom necessities, kitchenette, pots, pans, table settings for four a good sized refrigerator etc. It was very roomy with a pull out sofa that could serve as an extra queen bed plus a small porch looking towards the campground. A nice place for a simple budget holiday.

We enjoyed the ocean view and the rear balcony. Room was clean. We had read bad reviews that were not warranted. There were no bed bugs. We would have liked some ice trays to make ice but other than that it was a pleasant stay.

The outside of the building was rather shaby and uninviting. The rooms were freshly painted and the beds comfortable. The floor covering was fake wood...but not carpet. The window AC did NOT work. Thankfully there was a large portable fan. Okay for an overnight stop.

We checked into our room on the front. The ocean was right there. The hotel had two chairs overlooking the ocean. We sat out there all evening. It was close to Parksville so if we stayed longer there would be lots to do. A small kitchen in the room came in handy for breakfast the next day We liked the place and would go back

Okay if you need a quick stay in the area, but everything about the property is quite dated. + Staff was very friendly, the rooms are basic but clean, the view out front was great and the playground had the kids entertained for a while. - there is definitely NO pool and the internet was extremely spotty and slow, so an absolute no go if you need to get any work done.
