Great place to go for a relaxing getaway
The location of this hotel is wonderful. It is literally on the beach. The pool facilities are very nice and kept well. The staff at the pool was wonderful and attentive. There is one restaurant around the pool with a bit of a limited menu, but the food was good and the service was fast. The beach was kept very nice and clean with chairs and umbrellas available for rent. The atmosphere was peaceful, family oriented and relaxing. The only reason I did not give a perfect rating was because the hotel rooms are older and could really use some remodeling. The furniture is a little bit dangerous for children as well since there are glass covered tables with relatively sharp corners. The bathrooms need upgrading and there are no bathtubs in the building we stayed in. I also had a problem with the television reception, but since I was not in the room that much, it was not such a big issue. The positives of the room were that the bed was comfortable, the bedding was very good, and the air conditioning worked great. Would definitely recommend. Was a very nice weekend getaway. Looking forward to going back.
