This is a perfect hub-like location for quick beach and golf course access, exploring, attending events or dining in Narragansett, historic Newport and Wickford, Jamestown or Providence, as well as, taking off for day trips to Block Island, Martha's Vineyard or Boston.
Many conveniences are within a 5 min. drive: CVS, Walgreens,
Cumberland Farms (the equivalent of a 7-Eleven), Dunkin’ Donuts, banks,
coffee and pizza shops, restaurants and a very popular ice cream stand.
There is a small grocery store with all of the basics and an amazing fresh seafood market which is stocked from the local fishing docks. Bring a cooler to bring truly fresh seafood home for family and special friends!

Hosts
Both of us have been pet parents for many years, mostly Maltese and Pomeranians.
Currently, Scruffy and Roxy live next door along with their 3 yr. old crazy, cat brother, Siam. He looks like a Tuxedo, but he is half Siamese. He's a wrecking ball and a provacateur so life is never dull.
Jaye is a plant parent, too.
She loves all things botanical so, hopefully, you'll enjoy her houseplants and summer flowers as much as she does. Like all enthusiastic gardeners, she is also happy to share plant cuttings when they are available.
In the Summer, Jaye, will need to make the rounds 2x/day if we have not had enough rain. Her goal is to be quick and invisible, but unobtrusive at the very least.
Over the last 3 years, we have met so many wonderful people. Our aim is to make your stay as easy and as enjoyable as possible with an emphasis on comfort and attention to your unique needs.
We put a premium on CLEAN. Many of our guests have taken note of our efforts and been particularly appreciative of our high standards. If by chance we miss a spot please feel free to point it out - if you don’t mind the interruption, we will take care of it ASAP.
We've been known to allow our guests to stay as late as they'd like on check-out day, provided that we don't have guests booked to arrive that same day. Feel free to ask if that opportunity is available while you're here.
Our guests have said that we are friendly and hospitable - readily available for needs that may arise, concerns, directions, dining recommendations and recreational ideas. If you are missing anything in the kitchen, please ask us. Sometimes kitchen items get misplaced. We might just have whatever you need right next door. You are never bothering us!
We will be AS ACCESSIBLE or AS HANDS-OFF as you desire.
We will do everything we can to ensure that your time here is as we would want it ourselves.
A Walk-Through the Property
We are working on the interior and exterior and will continue to make improvements as we are able. Our emphasis has been on updating the interior and making the aesthetic improvements that we think will mean the most to our guests.
The 1st floor interior has an abundance of natural light during the day. Plants thrive in this room! To give you an idea of the layout - walking in the front door you'll be in the living room where there is a comfortable leather couch and love seat and plenty of room to relax. Floor is carpeted. Just a few steps away is the main level 1/2 bath and laundry access. The kitchen is to the right with a dine-in table for up to six, stainless-steel appliances, and all the basics for home cooking. The bathroom and kitchen floors have a wood-grain LVF.
A fairly steep flight of carpeted stairs connects the first and second floors.
On the second floor are two good size bedrooms with a queen bed in each room.
All linens are provided: "oversized" king duvets or coverlets, pillows and towels.
"Blackout curtains" on all bedroom windows!
There are two 4 ft. closets with organizers in the larger, front bedroom.
There is one closet in the other bedroom
Window A/C units are available during warmer weather.
Each bedroom has a full length mirror
Floors are carpeted.
The main updated bath is centrally located. It has a beautifully tiled tub/shower. The vanity base is covered with a granite top & porcelain sink.
